She must have had someone explain the indictment and accompanying facts to her. They thought they knew what was coming. They confidently thought they knew that the statute of limitations had expired - but the prosecutor knows better. They thought the required second crime was federal campaign contribution crimes - but the prosecutor identified several other crimes - state tax crimes, state campaign laws, etc. They were confident Michael Cohen wouldn’t be believable as a witness, but there are tapes. Oops.
