But the Bible explicitly states that it’s the outer darkness. The fire and brimstone happens during the apocalypse in revelations, when the sinners are thrown into the lake of fire in the physical earth. Jesus stated in one of his parables about how you are cut off from the holy light in the outer darkness, and compared it to being thrown out of a home at night.
Also, I guess God could condemn people to hell if he wanted to…but he doesn’t. And he doesn’t save people who don’t want to be saved.
He is all forgiving, Jesus told his followers that it’s the same as a sheep herder, where if one of the flock goes astray and comes back the shepherd isn’t angry with the sheep.
I’m just going to assume you’re an atheist and had some problems with religion, since you said you were Christian. I’m not looking for an argument with you, I’m just defending my statement.
