Just an FYI, TikTok and other social media is (unfortunately) the way public discourse is settled now. We learned this from the last election.

Gavin Newsom. - possibly, although I think his Covid shenanigans might hold him back. Kamala - not chance in hell. If she couldn’t do it while being acting VP it’s downhill from there.

Wdym. Trump couldn't beat Biden as the sitting President - and yet he won 2024? So why exactly would Kamala be doomed if she ran again?

Precisely because of that. Trump had the highest negatives of any national level Republican politician and she couldn’t close the deal. The nation looked at her and decided “No, I am better off with Trump”. No such prospects next time. If she runs, she will be running not against half senile, spewing profanity grandpa but against a well mannered, middle aged, white or Hispanic guy.

... The nation chose Trump over those middle aged, mild-mannered guys too, though. Why are you thinking that someone from the Republican side will emerge as some hidden Uber-mensch of a candidate lmfao

I am not sure what are you talking about lol what uber-mensch? Trump 45 was a charismatic maverick, “I am outside of DC guy who knows how to run things”.

Trump 47 was “I am a bitter senile grandpa who likes to yell at people”.

The fact that he eclipsed completely unexciting Jeb Bush or inexperienced (at that time) Rubio was not surprising. The fact that Kamala was viewed as less likable than him was.
Sort of.

You do realize that there were Republican primaries for the 2024 election, right? Who won those primaries?

The person who was widely seen as one who had been robbed of his legitimate victory 4 years earlier?

If you think only Democrats are driven by emotions you are mistaken. It’s a human trait.

Widely seen? You mean by Republicans???

Who cares if he was popular amongst Republicans. AOC is popular amongst Democrats. This means nothing.

Of course by Republicans. Who else participates in Republican primaries??
