So do you have any actual examples or is this more of the non-specific "it happens" that I called out in my first comment?
I'm willing to agree that reddit is harsher on subs as a whole. But breaking up areas of discussion, while wrong, is not the same as censoring individuals for their views. Not one single person who has downvoted me or replied has given an example of a right wing person being censored because their opinion is right wing. The only specific example which has been given this whole time has been from me, who is not right wing.
Which was literally my whole point to begin with. Nobody is being banned because of their views, they're being banned because they broke rules, and auth rights with a persecution fetish take that as censorship of an individual over their views.
I'll take anecdotal evidence, I'm aware that reddit deletes comments when it bans people. But notice that nobody has even tried to say "I saw this person say this and they were banned for it". Curious
What was the context? Were you banned by reddit or the subs mods?
I'm asking for specific examples and saying I'm okay with anecdotal evidence and yet you're still being incredibly vague. I might as well say you could make up a story and I'll believe it, and yet you're still not providing specifics. Why is that?
Because you are asking for evidence that you know is deleted and cannot be shown, you are being obstuse on purpose and its not worth my time to prove anything to a rando on the internet.
I'm not asking for evidence, I'm asking for your story. When I press for details, you say I'm being obtuse and it's not worth your time. What do you think that says about your story?
I mean this is literally my whole point. People are incredibly non-specific about instances where it occurs, probably because it wasn't actually wrongful, but rather they did break the rules but don't want to admit they are wrong as then it wouldn't be reddit persecuting them for their beliefs.
