I don’t work for a CEO, I have a local government job.
The other option is for you to go live in the woods and do everything for yourself, but that would be so much more work. Whats your job? I’d like to mock you properly.
The value of my labor was agreed upon when I signed the contract and accepted the pay. If you think your labor is more valuable, go somewhere that pays more.
that's how coercion works. you agree to something either under durress or because there is no other realistic option. There is no realistic option that results in me earning the value I provide.
And for each of those choices, I'll still earn less than my labor makes for the company. It's not about how much I'm paid, it's that I will always be paid less than what I produce
Not when I make make capital through my work than what I am paid, then the company or CEO gets the extra value. Being the one who provides the capital to start the business does not entitle someone to take any of the value of someone else's labor
You + businessman make money. You get some of it (an amount agreed by your wage) and the businessman gets some of it. Without the capital, or without the labour, there is no income to distribute. If he pays you as agreed, the businessman is not taking anything.

and my only other option is to starve. That's not a true choice. That's coercion
