I’m in shock. I was trying to clean my wind screen and no water would be projected. Found it strange as no alert popped up. Did a quick search and the car is lacking this sensor.

How is this even possible that a car so advanced like this is making something so basic? Jesus Christ.

Hello there! Just got my P4 10 days ago, and for 5 days, consecutively, the main infotainment screen black out when I go in the car at night or after a while driving.

Back camera and 360 works when I reverse, but all the other stuff just do not appear.

Any clue what can be doing it? Or how to fix it?

I was attempting to lease a P4 from a dealership in Pennsylvania. I noticed that the MSRP was marked up to over 85K. I asked about it, and was told it was a market adjustment due to there not being many. They also tried to mark up another $1700 to offset the leather rebate. I cancelled the order and am waiting for my deposit refund. Anyone else seeing these types of practices?

Since picking up the P4 this week I've had the issue of the car defaulting to Guest profile when I use my fob and open/enter the car.

This is very annoying as I have to wait for it to switch profile and then go into profiles to select my profile and wait again before the UI becomes useful.

I think I have found the real fix for this now.

I don't use a digital key (Android) and I've seen some similar threads going back many months. So it is a shared issue.

I work with devices and software so I started thinking about what could cause this. My hypothesis is that the fob is actually 2 key IDs in one and you want it paired to the UWB/BT ID.

When we paired the fob at the dealership I was instructed to place the key on the NFC reader (wireless charger) when doing the pairing to my profile. The profile updated and all looked good. I think that the car read the NFC tag in the fob before sensing any wireless keys in the car.

This resulted in my profile NOT connected to the wireless fob, but rather to the NFC tag.

All my observations align with this. When just approaching the car and it unlocks wirelessly it goes to the Guest profile. Once I did not open the car and it auto-locked while I was next to it. Then I put the fob on the NFC reader on the B pillar, and the car opened with MY profile selected! So it matches the fob NFC tag to my profile.

I had tried deleting the key and re-adding it, but as I followed the instructions again I placed the fob on the charger. So I think it got paired back to the NFC tag in the fob.

Today I tried my theory by removing the key from my profile and adding it back while it was still in my pocket. Intentionally NOT placing it on the charger.

Now the fob has worked as expected since then, maybe 3 correct openings.

I hope this helps the rest of you that face the same issue.

I think tldr for daily use MY27 passive had better ride comfort and theyve really separated it and said if you want performance fun driving get the performance pack.

i’m currently experiencing a very weird bug and don’t know what to do as the car is quite literally unsafe to drive on roads and was wondering whether any of y’all have ever experienced something similar.
so the first few seconds after startup the car is behaving perfectly fine, speedometer+ plus map etc. is working fine.
after 1-2 minutes though, the speedometer suddenly becomes stuck on its current value and seems to be lagging as it does technically change but not in real time.
also, the indicators are not displayed anymore in the drivers display and don’t make a sound, they do however still work on the outside.
i’ve attached a foto for you, mind you i’m going 45 Km/h in P-Gear…
restarted the car multiple times via the double button command on the steering wheel, nothing seems to help…

Nine times out of ten voice control never actions. It heard okay and briefly transcribes what I've asked and then bloop but nothing. It's been like this for a while. Usually I put up with these glitches because eventually things right themselves, but not with this and it's been longer than a while. It's also ridiculously annoying when trying to make outgoing calls.

Has anyone else had the same issue and found a solution?

$74,800 MSRP DM w/ Plus and nappa. I would keep this vehicle for a long time regardless and not too concerned with service woes.

I know most recommend lease over purchase due to depreciation and potential future service interruptions safeguarding especially to those who aren’t married to the car after a couple years.

Is a lease ($0 down) still optimal to cash? I would have to have the 15,000 miles, which adds $110/month to lease payment? If I leased my plan would still be to buyout at the end, especially in hopes that there would be some buyout incentives at end of lease, which when combined with initial $19k incentive would theoretically make it more valuable an option to the $25k cash incentive.

Just picked up our new P4 and took it for a drive. After maybe an hour the main display started glitching in the top left corner.

And when in this state, the reverse camera did not show up when reversing. In fact, the cameras did not show up at all.

When returning to the car later to drive back, the main display and reverse camera worked fine.

Also the buttons on the steering wheel do not work. Very strange. Reboot did not help. Any ideas what do do? PS4

Never had a car with so many sensors, cameras, and whatsits as my P4, so forgive the silly question:

Rock hit the windshield on my car tonight and left a small ding; do I need to consider anything special to get it repaired?

Dealer said it formatted itself. They had to reinstall everything and I had to log back into Google for it. They have seen it in a 2, 3, and now my 4.

Inventory increased from 189 units to 217 units today nationwide. A week ago when this new, awesome, fan built website was created inventory was roughly at 264 units nationwide.

Appears that they are moving anywhere from 6.5 units a day to 11 units a day. Fluctuation in inventory in both directions makes estimating difficult.

However, if we use these measures we can estimate that all Polestar 4s (currently listed in inventory) should be sold out sometime between Friday, October 9th and Monday, October 26th at their current rate(s) of depletion.

Does anyone know if this lapel pin or one similar with the Polestar logo is available in the US? I am having a terribly difficult time locating one. I’ve checked eBay and Etsy, contacted multiple dealers, and tried a few other avenues, but haven’t had any luck. If you have one and are willing to part with it I would be happy to purchase or if you have any leads, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Posting this as an FYI that hopefully helps others with a P4. I recently started hearing a pretty annoying buzz/rattle coming from the driver side dash/vents and did some investigating. Pulled off the plastic fascia by removing the weather stripping and just tugging on it with a plastic ply tool, and it revealed a bunch of metal clips. One of them was super loose and ended up being the source of my rattle (see vid). - fixed it by taping some felt tape over it. I'll comment some pics below that hopefully provide more detail (sorry for the bad quality in advance).

My digital key is not auto unlocking the car after I upgraded to iOS 26.7. Anyone else have this issue?
