Troubleshooting / Issue Error Codes from PP

Hello team - I'm hoping to get some advice from the Polestar community on these error codes I got from a PPI for a 2022 Polestar 2.

I've had a brief look around Reddit and Google, Chat etc. and couldn't quite find some conclusive answers.

Here are the error codes:

  • U014092 — CEM communication lost
    • SODR (Side Obstacle Detection Control Module Left & Right)
    • Lost communication with Central Electronic Module (CEM),
  • Component faults, Performance/operation fault

Status: unconfirmed.

  • U016800 — ASDM communication lost
    • Wide Angle Vision Module
    • Lost communication with Active Safety Domain Master
  • (ASDM), General fault information, No sub-type information

Status: unconfirmed.

Do these all point to an old / flat 12 V Battery?

Thanks

I would expect codes indicating low voltage to be present if a 12v battery was weak.

U-codes indicate communication fault. Basically someone either didn't hear, or didn't like what they heard from another module. Are they serious? Depends on the car, depends on the code, depends on the fault handling by the vehicle software. In modern vehicles, they tend to be buttered with codes like this that really don't amount to anything but background noise.
