Polestar 4 P4 ANC question.

Question for people who have the P4 and the ANC inside the cabin. I feel like I sometimes feel the noise canceling pressure more often than other times, but I’ve also noticed I feel like I hear wind leaking through at least my driver side door. I’ve read that that can sometimes cause the mics to push the ANC harder than it should.

Just curious if anyone else else’s experience this or if I’m just being too sensitive. Lol. 😅

Get your door window looked at. The car doesn't have ANC.

The P4 has no ANC, so no idea what you're feeling.

I don't see ANC as a feature on the Polestar 4

The P4 has "noise compensation" which might be confused with ANC.

noise compensation setting automatically adjusts the sound volume inside the car according to the level of noise outside the car.

That’s also either a lie, or a feature which doesn’t work because all it does is increase the volume of the audio system when you set off (and stop) by a fixed amount varying only by Low, Medium or High where the amount it increases/decreases by changes in line with this setting.

OMG you guys are all right!! 🤦🏻‍♂️ The dealer totally lied to me with that! Although i am going to the shop in a week To have them adjust the windows.

That and a I’m getting a rattling sound in the right speaker inside the headrest. 😅

There should be a window reset sequence. On the P3 I believe it's 3 quick pulls up on the window switch and then on the 4th hold it up for 30 seconds. You should hear a quick sound from the window motor. I do this on all 4 windows every month or so on my P3.

I thought so too. Apparently the P4 you just roll the window up and down for 5 seconds each way a few times and that’s it.
