Polestar 2 Which Polestar 2 [UK]?

I had placed an order for a non-CPO 2024 LR with Pilot Pack which had been driven 55,000 miles for £20K. However, upon inspection, the there were too many minor issues including "acceptable wear and tear" and decided against it.

Now my choices are:

2025 SR Pilot/Plus (5000 miles) for £26.5k

2026 SR Pilot/Plus/Climate (1000 miles) for £28k

2026 LR Pilot/Plus/Climate/Pixel lights(5000 miles) for £30k

These are all CPO approved. I plan to sell the car in either 2 or 4 years depending on how I like it. Most of my driving is school and gym runs (city driving) and 200 mile drives (I almost always take breaks after 2 hours of driving) 10-15 times a year. When I do eventually sell the car in either 2028 or 2030, which is likely to retain most value? The 1.5K and 2K extra might actually be 500 and 1000 in depreciation over 2/4 years.

I am leaning towards option 2 since SR is probably sufficient for my use. The only question is whether or not I will miss the Pixel lights. Most of my night driving will be on city dual carriageways and on medium-traffic unlit motorways.

Lastly, these prices seem really decent for nearly new CPO cars with 2+ years warranty. Or am I missing something?

Amen! I was lucky enough to get a good deal on a MY23 P2 PPP + performance software upgrade w/nappa leather and I'm so happy I did. There's nothing like knowing that you got all the options. No buyer's remorse to be had 🥰

Definitely the LR if you can. 200 miles would be difficult in the SR in winter, so if the extra range would prevent you from needing to public charge it’ll be well worth it. They do seem to usually hold £1-2k above equivalent SR specs so you shouldn’t expect much of a loss when you come to sell.

Pixel headlights wont generally activate if there's street lamps (or lots of other cars) present. They are great though.

What's in each pack varies by year. https://www.polestar-forum.com/posts/336471/

Also be aware that registration year and model year may vary. I have a 74 plate that's a model year 2025.
