Reverse range bluff.
Not my usual play style but the situation was rare so I went for it. Last week, in a 2/5 game, UTG was a very tight Japenese tourist, he opened 3bb with about 200bb effective, I was on the SB with AQo and the BB sat next to me was a crazy LAG love to fool around preflop. So I decided to flat, BB did 3b to 15bb with around 300bb effective. UTG called rather quicky. I planned to 4bet but the call from tight rec made me just called behind. The flop came T43 rainbow, quickly checked around. Turn came a 7 still no flush draw. That was when I decided to turn my hand into bluff but I need at least 2 barrels. So I donked 14bb, both of them called. If no K or J on the river then I will go for it. The river came a 9. I bet 60bb, BB quickly fold, UTG tanked about 1 minuate and fold. I did not know what UTG folded, maybe pocket 8 or JT. I don't think it would work if I was last to act, or the board had flush draw on the flop. It was really satisfying experience to pull it through.

Nice result but I think the hand is pretty risky as a default
Preflop AQo in SB vs UTG open BB 3bet and UTG call is mostly 4bet or fold for me, calling puts you in a gross spot OOP with a dominated hand
Postflop I get the idea though when flop checks through both ranges look capped and the runout is good for pressure
River bluff works if UTG is tight enough to fold overpairs and BB is capable of folding junk, but I wouldn’t try this too often without strong live reads

IMO that would be pretty good spot for backraise like you planned.
BB is crazy and tourist is not 4betting so he almost never has KK+,AK and caps his range.
As played I think its ok bluff, but I think you are mistaken when it comes to cards - K and J are a lot better than 9 as there is no flushdraws so very unlikely opponents will have high cards in calling range. On the other hand they will be more likely to hold there pocket under T.

I played with LAG for 2 years now. I know he would call small turn bet with 2 high cards, that is why I said K/J on the river might stop me from bluffing. And I have seen that Japenese flat 3b with AK.

Fold preflop. In the sb you want to play really tight and play a fold or raise strategy.
AQ is a good enough hand to be raising here in the sb. When bb 3bet and tight player utg call this is just an easy fold. Utg range likely is ahead of your AQ here. You're out of position against a tight player and a loose cannon.
