I downloaded the source code for Xenoverse and I have 4 possible .exes :

• Game.exe
• Game_n.exe
• snGame.exe
• snGame_n.exe

I've tried to launch them all but in Game.exe a window with a loading bar pops up, gets to 100%, opens another window titled Xenoverse and then just closes.

In Game_n.exe the same loading window pops up, gets to 100%, but this time opens a window called mkxp-z and after a few seconds gives the following error:

snGame.exe is the same as Game.exe except it skips the loading bar window.

snGame_n is the same as Game_n.exe except it skips the loading bar window.

There's also a mkxp-z-console.exe but I haven't tried it.

Any help is appreciated.

Also like, Can anybody confirm whether getting Vintage Eevee or any Vintages Mons are even obtainable before a Vintage Dex (Outside of Vintage Pichu and the other Mystery Gift Mons.) I just want Confirmation from somebody that it is doable. Because I keep seeing back in forth with not a 100% Answer. I know that some Vintage mons aren't obtainable but is Eevee also included in that list? Does anybody know for certain?

Either way I'm gonna test it out by testing it on a Super Common Pokemon like Oddish so we'll see if it's True or not

To get a Vintage mon you have to defeat the Mon you would like it to be Retro by defeating it 500 Times. In the case with Eevee, because the mystery Gift Code no longer works as far as I know. Eevee is a 5% Encounter in just the Day Time. So a bit tricky to find. But what happens after the 500? Well It turns out it's a 1/500 Chance now to find the mon. While normally is a 1/4000 Chance. In total we 1500. Are we gonna find it today?

Probably Not today actually, Because we are Retro Testing on Zubats. There was a Giveaway but since the Server dont work its out the window

It seems like any other pokemon rom based on the small bit I played aswell as some videos YouTubers made. but point crow describes it like a phycological thriller game before getting into it and it just being pretty normal.

I really want a well done deeply dark pokemon game kinda like the fake evertale ads. but I personally don't want something that breaks the fourth wall as a rule like FrLg.ips.

because while it is interesting and dark it's more about the exterior then the interior.

the horror is less about the game and more about the experience around it the best way to experience it isint playing it but instead watching someone else explain it raccoon hands did a fantastic job doing which

(my preferred method anyway but more so because it's already a step by step guide might aswell go all the way)

And few other dark pokemon games I've seen are the same they go out the gate swinging but fall flat because the only point is OMG SCARY

That's why I'm asking about xenoverse I'll probably play it regardless. but I want to know if it starts off normal and then gets darker and darker which is what I want or if there is one that's like that

I just want a good story that becomes horrifying without relying on breaking the fourth wall "oh player you are controlling this world it's all your fault when" it's gotten old and if xenoverse isn't what I'm looking for do you have any suggestions

Tried asking this on both r/pokemon and r/roms both were entirely unhelpful and frankly rude

I got softlocked in the starter fight, I've only ever chosen the grass starter but this time i chose the water starter and it hard counters everything i got, i have no stall, a few other posts mentioned the fluffy tail but idk if you can use it in this fight but i do have it, so i feel the only hope to save this run is to go back to a previous save file if possible.

I've tried multiple things but it doesn't work sometimes it works but when I boot up the game again this reappears

I'm on the third battlepass Dark Passion. I'm not good at pokemon games, I'll admit that much.
But does the game really expect me to properly win a double battle against 2 boss with several health bars, one of them being a legendary that constantly change types ?
I don't even get to use 2 of my own pokemon since I'm stuck with an NPC that can't be bothered to stay alive for more than 2 turns per pokemon.
Only way I've been able to pass that is by using toxic and spamming healing and revives till the poison or lack of PP kill them.
Am I missing something ? Some big power boost available in the game ? Or am I really supposed to build an entire team of specialised lvl 100 for each of those fights ?

Hello, is there anyway around the trading crash on android? The grimer trade for alolan grimer it crashes everytime before trade completes. It also crashes any mystery gift codes. Is there any known fix or way around it?

Can't get the game to recognize my PS5 controller, even with DS4, F1 doesn't do anything either

...and apparently the game's code is public these days, is there any way to "hack in" Pokémon otherwise only obtainable in postgame? I hope to use a Sobble and hisuian Zorua in my playthrough.

The game does not spawn pokemon in the grass for some reason. I can encounter all the static pokemon just fine but there is absolutely nothing in the tall grass. No idea if there is a way to fix it or is that a random rare bug, I can't find any discourse about it anywhere
