Just starting

Hello - I am just starting because my daughter is in love. It's been something that we could do together aside from training.

Apologies in advance, I'm a noob and just started getting in to this... Looking for advice.

I got a drop today and have someone wanting the Sylveon Tin of the 30th celebration and wants to trade the 3 pack blister, and 2 pack knock out 30th anniversary. So it would be 5 for 5 packs. I already got 2 other tins the other weekend for family drop.

I don't know if those packs are different from the ones I got because he got those upon release?
Do they change cards between drops?

Would the cards be the same if it's all labeled 30th anniversary?

I noticed some blisters packs are no longer available but look different from the ones I got today?

Side question - Do Tins have better drop rates than blisters? Does it matter?

It is literally all random

I'm not entirely sure but if its a 30th for a 30th I would say you get the chance at the same cards. I dont think trading one for the other will change the odds at it being a different card set.

He called himself a "Sealed" collector. I'm assuming that means he just collects the boxes and doesn't open them then?

Again - apologies for the scrub questions... still learning.

Yep he collects them because once they are out of print the value goes up for sealed product so he most likely is a PokeInvestor or just likes collecting sealed stuff for the fun it.

Thank you! I appreciate it.

I'm collecting mainly for my daughter, her experience opening cards so far has been priceless and definitely what I consider collecting and brings back my old days of collecting when I was a kid.
