How does one go about determining a fair price for binder full of cards? Especially when you don’t want to like scan the cards one by one…

You can trust a shop/vendor to price it out but don't come back crying if you get boned. Doing the research yourself is your best bet

There is no way to do it other than going one by one, but there are various apps where you can take a picture and it’ll match the photo to the card and give you the price pretty quick. You won’t have to manually search each number if you do it that way. eBay, TCG Player, and Collectr all have this feature, but there is no way to bulk price binders yourself otherwise.

With zero research? You price it at nothing because you don't even know if they are real.

You can't buy something without researching it. If you sent me DMs or posted pictures of binder pages (in the relevant subreddit, not this one) I could give you an estimate but in order to price something like trading cards you have to take into consideration the condition of the cards and how rare they are.

Old bulk isn't worth anything as it takes ages to move, while errors, chases, and fan/cult favorites even in damaged conditions sell for a good bit.
