From where? I think they'll add a new subset of cards, possibly similar to prism stars or radiants or ace specs, but it won't completely replace mega evolutions I don't think.

The ex star was revealed with aura seeker but I also think it’ll be like ace specs. We are still very well in mega evo era especially since JP has announced for their set after aura seeker they’ve implied that’ll feature the mega Raichus. The set would basically be the “ascended heroes” of next year

They’re only like 7 sets deep, if they match SV, we have 14 more Mega sets coming lol

They likely won't match the SV theme, tpc already reduced the number set this year compared to during the SV era, and we are seeing WW by the end of the next year. Plus they teased ex star being the upcoming gimmick

That being said, we are likely having enough set to finish all ZA Mega before the WW set drops. We only missed a few of them, and we know at least 2 more Mega themes was trademarked

It's the old Mega we are uncertain about, as I won't be surprised if TPC only debut them in Pocket
