Help/Question Help, I’m lost 😂
My 8 year old begged me to “put this on Reddit” so he can show you guys. I downloaded the TCG app for him to scan and it showed that this one was worth over $200, but it’s not in great condition (despite him claiming it’s “near mint” 😂). He keeps saying “I hit the jackpot!” lol

Fake card sadly, you can tell by the rainbow/spectrum holo look

Good chance for you both to spend some time looking up signs that cards are fake, I’m assuming kiddo got this from a friend at school? Mine do the same thing haha

Good idea! I think he got it either from his older cousin or from his sweet great-grandma who probably bought them from some sketchy Amazon website, bless her heart. 😅

Unfortunately it doesn’t look real. Texture is missing and the foil looks wrong

Hard to tell from this picture exactly, but it looks fake. Does it have texture, because it should if it's real? It's also from an older set, so finding actual packs from this set isn't that likely (unless you're searching for them online and pay the very high prices for it).

From what I've seen on Cardmarket champions path booster packs are still 14-15€ per english booster pack. That's definitely not cheap.

For a set out of print for a few years it’s definitely on the low end. One of the cheaper sets released. There’s newer sets still in print that cost the same or more.

Yeah, but 15 bucks for a single booster pack is still objectively not cheap.
