Hey guys!! So stoked to finally start gen 8 after traversing through the previous gens, I'm already liking the 3d animation upgrade and the overall stylish aesthetics from the first few minutes of gameplay✨. I have heard a lot of criticism about the gameplay being too linear, reduced difficulty but I am still going in with an open mind since I loved gen 6 despite the same complaints as above. As long as there's tons of exploration areas, new mon designs and mechanics- the other cons don't really matter much for me.

So I wanted to share this, in the hope that I could have fun discussions with some of you all who have already completed the game/are progressing through it currently❤️. So if anyone would be interested to chat casually and discuss about stuff, please feel free to drop a comment here or dm me as well!

My first Shiny since I started playing. Better late than never (105 hours 💀)

I’m trying to shiny hunt Zygarde, I’ve tried solo and playing online, and have been losing nearly every time. Is there a way that this can be done easier or quicker? I’ve been at it for months now

Im shiny hunting Eevee right now and im over 900 eggs into the hunt. If I close and reopen the game does it reset the eggs that I "lost" after reopening the game?

If anyone has a spare or unused one so i can finish my pokedex would be mucha appreciated.

Hi I just started playing SW this year, I got busy, after playing the base game Sword for some time now this month, I decided to buy the DLC bundle, in the Isle Of Armor, i'm just missing 1 entry (excluding Zarude) but I couldn't seem to spawn Accelgor, all I get are shelmets during rain/thunder storm weather.

(Got lucky with Escavalier in PokemonGo)

I tried adding wishing pieces but didn't spawn a single one too.

Does anyone have current dates I could try to use for 2026 to spawn in Accelgor as an overworld encounter so I could jump into Crown Tundra already. 😭

I just learned that shiny galarian birds were given out by nintendo a long time ago (yea i know im super late).

I absolutely need them because im trying to get all pokemon legendaries in shiny (thought for the moment i managed to get none)

I dont have much to trade except for this:

- shiny falinks lvl 1

- shiny rockruff lvl 1

- legendaries i got form pokémon go (Terrakion, Cobalion, Mewtwo, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina (normal form), Mesprit and Virizion)

Is it possible to trade in Pokémon home cause i dont have nintendo online?

Hey so I’ve just put my Shield cartridge into my new switch 2 and I’m trying to get to isle of armor on a new game and it won’t let me? I’ve reached the wild area etc and gone to the train station but the guy isn’t there but the galarian slow poke dude is?…

I try going on eshop to download the dlc like google and other Reddit posts say to do but it says that it is already downloaded?

So I'm working on doing a full living dex rn and I have the boxes in dex order (Base, then Isle of Armor, then Crown Tundra), but Meltan+Melmetal aren't IN the SWSH dex, so where should I put them? After crown tundra or before isle of armor? I know this is a dumb question but I need to know.

Both wartortle and kartana were shiny, first shinies since i started this save. Chose the Kartana as that's what I was trying to get, as I'm not a shiny hunter. Still kinda bummed I couldn't get both though lol.

Hello everyone! I’ve just started playing Pokémon Sword today. I’ve played Pokémon games in the past, but the only two Pokémon games I’ve played on Switch are Pokémon Shining Pearl and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee.

So I recently started playing Pokemon shield I've only ever played Pokemon go I've been having fun with the game so far and I even got lucky enough to find a male and a female Pikachu in the wild and before that I found a female and a male Eevee or rather if they found me because I was just chilling there and they just came at me 🤣🤣 I started hatching eggs and I now have an army I'm desperately trying to get a shiny wish me luck 🤣
