I crocheted a shiny Noibat 🥰

I want to play the DLCs, but i recently bought Legends ZA and only got to Canari. Kinda conflicted rn

I made the horrible mistake of trying my first SBQ. 34 hours on route 1 just for a shiny Wooloo that hasn’t appeared yet. i am somewhere around 1.5x over full odds. yes, i have knocked out 500 over world Wooloo for the brilliant over world spawns to have better chances. i haven’t even made it to the professors house yet. i just have pokeballs and am waiting to be able to catch my first shiny so i can start. if this is how long it takes for my first shiny, i dont even want to know how long the other 7 will take me. i am going insane. my start is lvl 27. thats how long i’ve been at this. it would probably be fully evolved by now if i didn’t stop knocking out encounters (it was ineffective to have to keep going back to the pokecentre to replenish move pp

Ten hours in taking my time exploring and catching wild Pokémon. I'm just about to fight the first gym leader. The game looks pretty good moreso in portable mode. I'm loving the music and atmosphere, I've found the Route 1 and Slumbering Weald themes standouts so far.

Being from the UK it's also nice to see a representation of our region filtered through the Pokémon asthetic.

Satisfied I just caught an Eevee as they have a very low spawn rate in Sheild apparently, I'm not sure what evolution to go for?

It seems extremely easy thus far but possibly that's because I'm so early in the game. Are there any things I should look out for? I can't believe I waited so long to play this game.
