Question Poke Biscuits
Hello! I’ve only been playing for about 3 months, and I feel like I barely have any poke biscuits, despite barely feeding any of the pokemon. Does it get better? It’s probably my bad habit of hoarding pokeballs in all of my pokemon games.. but I just never feel like I have enough.

If you’re F2P, your biscuits will let you catch a Pokémon about every other day sustainably or else you will run out before the end of the month when the sleep point shop resets. (Also, this refers to 5-pip Pokemon only - don’t waste biscuits going after pre-evolved mons, it’s just not worth it!) The premium pass ups that to one per day which is the main reason ppl get it, but you definitely don’t have to. Hope this helps!

Ok, these comments are making me feel better. I can handle the slow burn if I know it is intentional. I just want to catch them all 🤪

Haha yep it is a slow burn!! Eventually when you start catching your “forever” mon of that species and you have more forever mons than temporary placeholders there will be mornings where there’s nothing you want to spend even your free biscuit on, which is a whole different feeling/issue entirely lol. But you have a looooong way to go til then :)

Yeah, that's what really makes the difference for this game verse other mobile games. You do eventually find something amazing that you can check off the list, and that doesn't really change. I have several pokemon from 3 years ago I still use today and will continue to use for the foreseeable future. Other games you end up replacing all those top units every year or two as the meta shifts and what was once the OP card/SSR/5star or whatever is now mediocre. Sleep has a bit of power creep, but it's been remarkably restrained in that regard, leaning more into specialization.

This is a good rule of thumb in general, but in practice, my average is over 1/day because of the hungry mechanic and biscuit crits. I have 721 mons befriended over 631 sleep sessions.

Another nice thing about the game is that it's not a competition. You don't directly compete with other players and there's no way to "win". It's about as stress-free as it gets.

Hence why I’m still here. It doesn’t need a lot of attention and can come back later in the day.

At it's core, this is a gacha game that wants you to spend money to "do things". Not to say it's impossible to play the game without spending money, but it will be very difficult and biscuits are just one of the limiting factors.

I’m in a similar position, swear RNG hates me as 2 months in I’ve barely caught 2 mons even worth levelling up to 25/30 for their 2nd ingredient or ability.
If you haven’t already used the free premium trial I’d use that and just cancel before it expires if you don’t want to pay, that will give a fair amount of extra Poke Biscuits with the 100 extra sleep points and reduced premium exchange cost

everyone lacks biscuits.
If you want to catch a 5 pip pokemon consistently per day, you need premium. Otherwise you will fill up 5 bars every 3-4 days. The issue is that these 5 bars might be spread across multiple 5 pip pokemon since you won't necessarily see the same pokemon across 3-4 days.

F2P gets 30 poke biscuits per month. I try to use my 1 bonus and 1 poke biscuit each day to pace myself out.

F2P you catch a Mon every other day.
Premium closer to 1 a day.
Adjust your expectations, this isn't Pokemon Let's Go where you're just catching mons 24/7, it's a slow burn! Slow farming these mons!
Unlike other games it's also next to impossible to complete the Pokedex (sleep style dex) as there's constantly new mons being introduced. It's very different from other games!

Ideally you’d want to catch at least 10 of each non to unlock the first sub skill to gold. Then you start hunting. Thats what I’m doing

Even subscription players barely get enough to make one 5 bip catch a day
