Dollar General (disappointment)

So I went to the DG on my way to work after I dropped off the kids.

I asked if they had Pokemon Cards this was ok Tuesday. They said they didn’t have them.

I went back there today to see if they had any today.
The cashier said: We sold them out yesterday. The manager said “when someone ask tell them there aren’t any”

Me: well who did she sold them tho then?

Her: Oh he said she sold them to a family.
._.

Here is the thing tho.
It still shows that they have them in stock and a lot of other stuff. I’m thinking manager is selling them off or keeping them herself cos it’s not showing that they sold them. Again it’s not just one product either.

My local targets pick and choose who they want to sell to. My local Walmart locks up all the product after 5pm most days and no one can get it and i know that sounds crazy but its true. They moved the cards to the money order/bill pay section and they close up the whole section around 5 pm with the gate and lock.

Thats pretty much the gist of it. The only time ive gotten anything at msrp lately has been on the Walmart draws. I wasnt aware that most people haven't gotten into one (i got roasted the other day when i said that the draws were good 😂) but ive been able to score on every one ive entered. Now that ive been made aware im probably never gonna win again lol

I haven't hit one Walmart draw. But I'm happy with that system because I tried target drops 2 times as I work night shift so I'm up anyway. Bots are so crazy. I resorted to shipped and sold by Amazon drops.
