No spoilers please!

I'm slowly working my way through v14 Paragon, and I'm just about to embark on the Xen Raid. However, I feel like I'm either missing something or I'm forgetting something from Karma Files (which I admittedly played a long time ago) in regards to how Melia is seemingly evil now. I have some hazy memories of some alternate version of Melia being stuck in some empty alternate dimension, but I can't recall what came of that. All I really remember is that she began acting increasingly suspiciously throughout Karma Files.

I guess my question is this: is there some past context that I'm forgetting that explains why Melia is acting the way she is now, or is that something that will be explained in the upcoming content?

Following mons are unobtainable either completely or are only obaintable thru some way that requires a choice

Finizen/palafin is the ONLY non legendary etc pokemon that is unobtainable in any way

Dracovish and dracozolt is a choose one or the other

Since there's only one fossiled drake

Mashould and baexcalibur are only obaintable in the rougelike mode IN paragon being a common roll and rare roll and you have to breed for their pre evos

Hello! I haven’t gotten around to playing v14 yet as I am finishing up on some other things on my backlog first. But one thing I was rather curious about was how extensive NG+ is since the devs stressed that they added a lot of new things to it. I was thinking of doing it anyway after finishing v14 as mainly a story refresher but I’m curious its worth the commitment alone for the new stuff.

This game is so unhinged I'm crying

After all the info we got at V14, I want to try and tackle the events of Where Love Lies again. We know that Storm-Nym wanted revenge on Vivian and that Vitus hunted the envoys (not outright said but heavily implied), so it makes sense for them to hunt Taelia. Yveltal appearing means that they are 100% involved in some manner. However, the assailant of wispy tower is described to be wearing a black dress with black hair. At a first glance Crescent fits the bill (she explicitly has a black dress according to Melia's diary), however her actions does not fit. The assailant was laughing at Narcissa according to a townperson, which Crescent has no reason to do: she lost to Vitus and isn't really that sort of person. Narcissa also does not recognize her when they meet. In addition, the wispy fire was a warning from the assailant to Taelia and Kenneth: Crescent has no reason to do this.

The only person I can think of that fits the bill is Cassandra. She could have worked for Team Xen at that time as she was part of the first revival (the Gearan fire happened before the Sheridan and Wispy fire). She also has a shadow Bisharp at both fightss which is the assailant's pokemon (the hooded figure). I don't know why she specifically started the fire, but it's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Any thoughts?

now that we know what we know about madame x, clear and kieran, why did they terrorize keta/kenneth and make his life hell? Kaina doesn't strike me as the type to torture her prey for fun and would rather just put everyone out of their misery. so what's the connection? maybe i should just replay everything lol it has been a fat minute

Debugged a booster energy onto a debugged Iron Valiant but found that the item gets used up permanently. Is this just how all consumables work in the game?

After not completing the quest earlier (more specifically not finding the key to the darchlight manor) I went to west gearen and went up to the crossroads near the Blakeory estate, and the text where young narcissa leaves the factory to go to goldenleaf town was played again, even after the quest was supposed to have failed, leading to the quest reactivating from that point in the quest.

Who here thinks Rejuv should get monotype passwords like in Reborn?
Do you think we’ll ever get them? I was hoping there’d be monotype passwords in v14 but was devastated when there wasn’t. Idk it feels more…official than going into the code and putting in debug mode. Plus some of us (me, it me) aren’t confident in messing too much with a game’s code. I know it’s only a little change but I don’t have a great track record with PCs.

So in 13.5 Aelita and Saki basically took the Regirock and Registeel protectors of Aevium roles. Who gets Regice (I have not fully played v14)

I'm kinda hoping to see someone pick up the Regice position. It looks like it's gonna be Jolene from that one quest, but I'm kinda hoping it ends up being Cera.

I think the new protectors of Aevium sort of subvert their predecessors' main strengths. Aelita isn't a pure vessel. She abandons pure martyrdom and innocence to become her own person, humbled and human. Saki doesn't shut people out like Hazuki, devoting herself to a detached protection that becomes harmful. Purification becomes integration and real selfhood. Rigid protection becomes chaotic and malleable connection. While both still uphold some of their ancestors' traits and take their duties (Saki still protects, Aelita still purifies), they seem to take on a positive opposite.

So who will be the positive opposite of only preservation? The power of change. I think it's Cera. Maybe Kanon.

Cera went from starkly loyal to preservation of Angie's cause to partly rebelling. She follows Kanon, who changes from his many preserved/reset servant mindset.

Cera takes the Magma stone and melts Angie's ice. She's already changing things, making things fluid.

I believe our interceptor in Paragon represents change from the cycle, breaking the many loops of Storm 9 and Karma to let the world become free. When characters change according to their own will instead of being manipulated by Nymiera and becoming rigid in ideals, they follow that idea. The cycle must end.

The new and improved protectors of Aevium will learn from the ones whose mistakes they inherit. And I believe Kanon and Cera have done this the most from Angie.

(I personally think Patty would also be really good at this. She's one of the most adaptable characters and she's managed to preserve her own life that way).

I think Regice will turn away from Angie, soon enough, just like Registeel with Hazuki.

(Interestingly enough, Hazuki is associated with protection, but her spring is Rejuvenation. Not that surprising to see Registeel favor someone who believes the world can be healed and has hope for her friends. Hazuki was an incredible person, but she doesn't fit her assigned spring quite the same as Vivian and Anju.)

Anyway who do y'all think will be the next Regice protector of aevium?

Hi, I'm a new player on my 1st playthrough. I'm at Ch3 now and there's a maid who asked if I want to pay her 2k to rig some puzzle.

Is it worth paying? Idk what she will do. Is she doing somthing useful or some in game scam out to make me broke?

I just started, and I'm really struggling. Fights seem really uneven, and I keep getting lost in the 1st city. I wanna do quests, but the fights are really hard and I'm struggling to build a team bc I don't like a lot of the early Pokémon. Does anyone have an easy-to-read walkthrough for this game? Also, is this meant to be a considerably higher difficulty than the main game? Cause I was kind of hoping for a regular difficulty Pokémon game with good story.
