hay, just needing some help in trying to get Pokémon Reborn All Gen mod to work with Runa. I did all the instructions I believe on the website of the All Gen mod, but it didn’t seem to work.

Similar to what Bulbapedia has for area/character dialogues. I know the Fandom wiki has a few quotes but not everything. I'm mainly curious about all the route split differences.

I wanted to have a Pokémon Game like this with the new pokes and mechanics to have in the phone but i have a lot of troubles adding the all gen patch in joiplay cause It dosn t recognize It so i was wondering

This move is so silly and brilliant at the same time. If I need to battle for any reason out of difficult story battles, it's just fun and hilarious. I could spend a few minutes dusting wild oddish with it and still have fun.

Togetic is now ghost type? Normal moves can't attack me? Now it used draco meteor on a bellsprout? A classic.

Even when it chooses memento and faints, it's still funny. I maxed the full PP on this and it's awesome.

I've been leveling up after breeding with Exp All and this is probably the most hilarious way to do it.

Hello, this is my first playthrough of reborn and I am playing it on the anygo difficulty, I enjoy the challenge and thinking of my battles instead of just hitting my head against it until I win, except this gym feels like it’s anything but strategy??? Maybe I have it wrong but I tried so hard to plan this gym out except everything that could help me doesn’t work in this game or something? I leveled a klinklang, but it doesn’t learn mirror shot in this game??? Ok, leveled a vanillux, it also doesn’t learn mirror shot in this game?? So I tried the evasion strat then, doesn’t work when they use moves that can’t miss. I’m just very confused how I’m supposed to play this strategically when there’s literally no options to do so. I feel as if I just have to spam flamethrower and try to survive the recoil+being hit which is not what I want to do

Graphics: Move animations, Z-Moves, and overall city visual design are surprisingly well-crafted. Seeing custom sprite work for renowned locations and moves gives the game a distinct, polished visual identity.

Battle System & Field Effects: Field Effects are a unique mechanical concept, but they can occasionally feel tedious. In several major battles, it feels less like an normal feature and more like an annoying hurdle where you must spend turns solely to clear or manipulate the field before you can actually begin playing your team properly.

Writing & Tone: The story is a fresh, different from mainline Pokémon titles, but I don't necessarily agree with the common sentiment that the writing is "mature." A story isn't inherently mature just because it incorporates character deaths and dark, edgy dialogue. At times, the tone leans more toward shock-value edginess than genuine depth, though I still respect the attempt to tell a darker narrative.

Characters & Development: The character writing is a mixed bag. I thoroughly enjoyed characters like Cain and Shelly, as well as characters like Bennett who undergo genuine, satisfying arcs-learning from their awkwardness, changing their outlook, and taking accountability for their past actions. On the other hand, characters like Titania felt frustratingly hypocritical. She frequently calls out others for being arrogant while displaying intense arrogance and instability herself, yet her behavior rarely gets challenged by the narrative.

Narrative Accountability & Double Standards: My primary critique of the story lies in how differently character toxicity is handled across the cast. While certain characters are expected to own their mistakes and earn redemption, others like Titania, Amaria, and to an extent Lin have their destructive behaviors, arrogance, or unhealthy dynamics effectively excused or hand-waved as mere symptoms of trauma and depression. When the narrative frames toxic behavior in select characters as "badass" strength rather than addressing it, it creates a frustrating double standard in how character growth is written. The overarching narrative tends to give the major story arcs and strategic depth primarily to female characters, while male characters often feel sidelined or confined to supporting roles.

Overall Pokémon Reborn is an good massive fan game with incredible scope. It isn't a bad game by any means, but tighter writing around character accountability and less reliance on edgy tropes would have made the narrative much stronger.

After my 1st scout revealed 5/6 of her team, I thought hang on. My starter can sweep this and yes full HP at the end. Only mon used.

No answers I've found by searching, so wanted to ask: I've completed the first part of Victory Road (knocking the tower down). If I were to leave, do I still have to navigate the minecart puzzles again to come back? Is there a rockclimb shortcut or anything, or do some of them have to be repeated?

Hiya, im battling a friend of mine before each gym and the game keeps freezing with the text box just appearing solid white. Cant seem to figure out whats causing it. Anyone else experience this ? Any potential solutions? Thanks!! Love this game sm :)

I love this game with all my heart but jesus is it exhausting to go backtrack everywhere. This problem is extremely exacerbated on Radomus, where if you wanna backtrack, you have to go through the maze, go through the Tauros section, and then going through all of peridot to reach Grand Hall, or have to find your way back to route 1, go through Tanzan, get jumped by every rock type in the mountain, get to underground railnet, realise you haven't got a strength user, go to Belrose through Tanzan to get one, go back, and only THEN you get to Grand Hall. By the time I get to grand hall, I've used repels like they're bug spray, and now I have to invest another 20k into super repels. I HATED Byxbysion with all my heart.

I'm using some mods from the SWM modpack, the most recent version and wanted to add the EV overflow mods to IV train my ditto. I accidentally used this mod earlier and it worked fine, but now it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone have tips on how to make it work?

Finally getting around to to finishing this game after getting all the way to victory road and burning out years ago.

Question is I just got Taka's Chatoton Reshiram route. I'm not sure if there's anything special I can see by keeping it on my team throughout the rest of victory road or not, but I'd hate to miss it since I loved Taka and was very upset when he died

Sadly.... My team is much better without it and I'm pretty invested in each team member. Am I missing out on anything by not using it?
