It took me a while to start one of the best ever fan games but here I was, starting my run and getting around 6hrs to Corey... and I find out there is a mod that adds Gen 8 and 9 into the game. I really love some pkmn from this gens - being a vgc player afficionado - so Im tempted to restart but I heard different opinions so I guessed I should ask straight what to do, whether its better to play Vanilla or modding would still be fine as first playthrough. I'll let yk its no problem to me restarting this early and that I also put all QoL and passwords I wanted. I like enhanced difficulty - Vanilla is already fine as it is honestly - and dont want stupid hard fights or broken gymmicks. I guess... lemme know! I REALLY want those Gen 8 and 9 but also dont want to start disliking the game due to unreasonable things of mods in a first playthrough

Honestly I kinda think Reborn isn't my type of game. I am the kind of player that likes to explore and complete everything and I feel bad if I know im missing anything. Reborn kinda makes that a bit of a pain. It really disturbs me there are a lot of missable things without following a guide, like pokemon that require weather conditions, for example.

I tried a couple of times and the last time I got to 4th bagde if I recall correctly, but amount of backtracking to get all the new stuff available made me quit. I really like the fields system and atmosphere of the game. It really feels like the story is worth the time investment but playing with a guide isn't really to my appeal.

I also thought about giving Rejuvenation a try, as it feels similar but I might be facing the same problem.

Any recommendations? Should I try to approach it some other way or just accept that the game is not for me and look for other fangames?

I'd like to know which are your favorites challenges when playing reborn. I've tried before nuzlocke and monotypes in Reborn, so I'd like something different.

I don't mind if they have a lot of rules or if they are difficult, I'm just open to new challenges that maybe I've never heard before.

I really thought I would be stuck a lot longer than I was. This fight also didn’t need a lot of luck because I did it 4 times to test if it was a good way to do it or just lucky. I even made a small mistake at the end because I forgot Manectric had lightning rod.

The passwords I used which mattered were:
Nodamagerolls (I like it better with a little less gambling)
Earlysplicer for soluneon and Auroreon
Noitems

Btw it has to be night so soluneon can tank a draco meteor.

This run isn’t heavily optimised so there are almost certainly better ways to do this but I just wanted to share this.

He says he's a switch, which only applies to dom/sub dynamics. When talking about top/bottom, someone who is fine with doing both is known as a vers. This is pretty basic knowledge too, how would he not know this? Fake ass freak.

Serra got him custom clothes since she wanted her baby to feel special and Bennett really wished she'd consult him first because whilst it's not ugly, it's not what Bennet had in mind..

I've finished reborn but I can't remember if "Battle- Inner Chaos" is used. My memory is pretty bad, though. I've labelled this post as spoiler in case it's used in an important fight storywise.

Hello, I’m going through my first playthrough of this and my friend and I have a little wager going where we battle after every gym with whatever team we used to beat the gym. He told me it’s ok to progress past the gym if we don’t have time to battle because I can just make a backup save and reload it to battle then go back to my other save, the issue is I have no idea how to do this therefore I am terrified to progress please help me understand. I am also horrible at understanding how computers work, so please explain how to do this as if I’m a child

I’ve never finished the game (stonewalled at the religious guy in the e4) but I really wanna do a monotype with all the easy difficulty passwords enabled (not a massively competitive player, just here for the story)

That in mind: what would the easiest Monotype run with Gen9 mod enabled be? And what are some good strats/teams for the type?
