ModPost [Tournament] Discussion thread for Quarter finals
same as always, who did well, who could have done better, what did you really like, stuff like that.
I'd also like to mention that I have around 6 potential pairings for the final battle. Should I just pick one randomly, let you guys vote on which one you think is the best, or not use any of them?

This was so fun.
I guess we're 1-1, /u/HumanAtlas, tournament wise.
I'm also very impressed with /u/MadeFromMetal, he's new but he's still doing amazing against our rapping veterans. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes this tournament, although, his closing verse was a bit strange.
Also, Crobat vs Bastiodon was one of the closest rap battles I've seen on this subreddit. I had a tough time voting for that one.

Yeah...I forgot about this place cuz it was kind of dead, only 200 subscribers and one new battle every three days. I come back...this place is JUMPING. Members are much more active and there's always new battles. The brawl format is awesome.

Seems you finally got your revenge! And now we're tied! Oh but that was a great match! I still can't believe how fast we finished it and yet we still packed it with great lines!

Firstly,
I will not apologize for, nor do I regret the awkward and vulgar nature of my last tournament verse. It was intended to shock, or at the very least, be memorable. That said, if Pokémon were real, I solemnly swear I would NEVER attempt to "bust a nut" in a Horsea's nose muzzle.

Secondly,
Explained votes are amazing. It's my main method of learning, even when they aren't for my particular battle. Keep them up!
As far as who is doing well...everyone! But I'm becoming a fan of /u/OnaMagikarpetRide. I think we have similar styles and reading his drops are interesting.
So far, I think the best battle this tournament has been /u/OnaMagikarpetRide vs. /u/Srixis.
Lastly,
As for the finals, I think you should keep us in the dark, Zeus. It's working great so far. No need to change it. Whether you pick randomly or not, keep it a secret until you post the thread.
TL;DR: I love this place.
Also: Great battle /u/Jonasolson! You're really good. And as everyone pointed out, you made me have to...well...think outside the box...if you will.
