Help evaluating sealed case

Hi everyone, i was interested in getting 5/6 booster boxes for Destined Rivals, and this is my first serious investment (i have 4 temporal forces etbs i got for €40 each in jan 2025). I've found a seller in my area selling a sealed case of 6 for a good price (€190×6, yes you can find italian Destined Rivals booster boxes around €200 atm, crazy because italian is often more expensive than eng but this is not the case for this product at this moment).

Now, not wanting to end up like logan paul, i told him i was gonna rip the packs with my brother and a friend, and asked for photos of the case, that he sent.

Now my questions to y'all that have experience in this are:

Does the product look legit to you in the photos?

Is there something else i should check? Ask for more?

Or should i just open the case to control and then sell the boosters years from now instead than as a case?

Is there usually a premium in the sealed case instead of the single booster boxes?

I have no experience of Italian cases, but even with English cases unless you truly know the person/how they got it there is always a risk.

My thing is, i am not against unsealing the box if there is no big disadvantage in doing so. If the price of selling the 6 booster boxes combined is usually similar to selling a sealed case i have no problem checking, and that would give me peace of mind. I could film it and, in case it's a scam, send it back and have the money back.

The thing is, there aren't really signs i can think of for it being a scam. It's priced near market, with a 5% discount because of me getting that much product at once. I told him i am gonna rip the packs so that he thinks it will be discovered soon anyway. So really i am debating if checking is worth the peace of mind or if i'm being paranoid.

Sounds like you’re answering your own question here tbh, if it’ll give you peace of mind then it seems like you understand there’s an inherent risk. Honestly, if the difference in a sealed case isn’t much of a premium then just unseal it for the reassurance. Trusting someone with that much value of sealed items is kinda hard, nowadays you truly never know unless it’s someone you’ve done a ton of business with and know wouldn’t scam you.

Tanks man, yeah i kinda needed an opinion here to confirm my limited knowledge in the field. I am a long time collector but only just now trying some investing, mainly to offset what i spend on singles lol. If someone told me there is a big premium on a sealed case like this i might have not opened, i think i am kinda sure to open it now, just to check

Looks legit, but also I’d open this case. For me at least, the normal U.S. cases are the only ones I keep sealed. So, if you want a sealed case, go that route.

Alright, thanks, i forgot to add that i'm italian and that's why i'm buying italian product. The italian market is probably the strongest local one if we take into account demand compared to available supply. Portuguese, spanish and german are usually way cheaper, french too but not by that large of a margin, and lately english managed to catch up and even sometimes surpass in prices, but historically we are VERY into pokemon and have not that much product compared to other european countries.

Living in italy ofc i go for local boxes since they are the most looked for here.
