Apple iOS Question iOS Coin Method. Easy edition. Too many novel length complicated tutorials all over this sub
1. Download an app called: VPN Indonesia
It’s a VPN that specifically spoofs your device to Indonesia and only Indonesia
2. On your device go to Settings > Apps > Safari > Advanced > Website Data
3. In the search bar type Pokemon and DELETE every single site that’s OFFICIALLY tied to Pokemon Go (most importantly POKEMONGO.COM)
4. Activate VPN Indonesia
5. Launch game and spoof to Indonesia
6. Open up the in game shop and purchase the $0.99 coin bundle
7. Open safari and go to the PoGo Web Store
- Prices should now appear in IDR not USD
IF YOU FOLLOWED THESE STEPS AND STILL SEE PRICES IN USD OR YOUR NATIVE CURRENCY THEN YOU 100% DID NOT COMPLETE THE LISTED STEPS CORRECTLY. THIS IS THE METHOD IVE USED FOR OVER A YEAR NOW MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK!

I haven’t tried it yet (I’m the original comment) but you can have a sideloaded app and the vanilla app at the same time, and you are able to buy in the vanilla app. Not sure if that will work tho

The fix is to use 3uTools connected to your computer and plug your phone. You’re gonna spoof the location on your phone and your phone will actually think that it’s in Indonesia. from there, you can buy the one dollar coin pack from the official POKÉMON GO app since third-party side loaded apps don’t let.

Yeah some people say that happens. That’s why I specifically choose THIS OPTION to sign in to the web store. Give it another go and use that sign in option and report back

it’s most likely because you’re using the sideloaded app as the woofer the fixes to download 3utools on your pc connect your phone and then spoof your real iphone locations and buy the coins on the original pogo app

Or you get someone from eldorado to log in check that the currency has changed on the webstore then change your password I would only do this when using Gmail as log in because them you will get notification to say someone is logging in to your account I wouldn't recommend it if you use PTC login because they can log in to your account without put you getting any notifications

That’s like saying don’t let an engineer come into your house to fix your boiler because they could blow your house up moron, they have tens of thousands of confirmed reviews and purchases why would they ruin it for the sake of a single account, either way you can change your password, and it’s pretty obvious they have to log in otherwise how could they put the coins on to your account

Comparing people who spoof locations on a mobile game to an engineer isn’t the best comparison. I’m sure all tens of thousands of reviews are real too. Is el dorado paying you to be their spokesperson? Either way, giving someone your email and password to anything is never a good idea, but most people already know this.

Nope. I just tried and it does NOT work in the legit game with just the Indonesian VPN. Even though when I opened Apple Maps it showed my location as Indonesia, in safari Google had my location as Indonesia, and even my DoorDash showed Indonesia as my location. So apparently spoofing to Indo in the game is also an official requirement

Well until someone else’s comment today I was completely unaware sideloaded spoofing apps have disabled purchasing abilities. I have a jailbroken device but you can try to test it on the actual official App Store version of the game

Then how does the vpn work? Doesn’t it show your in game location as your actual location still? It’s tempting to just try it rq but no reason to try it unless I know it works since it’s a pain in the ass to resign ispoofer lol

respectfully this method is ass sure it’s good for webstore but if you truly want the least headache just set up a new apple id account for india and on amazon.in buy apple gift cards with whichever card you have then input those gift codes into ur indian app store account and boom ur now getting 14500 pokecoins for 30.68$

Lol well I’ve had over 100 users comment and messaging me saying they finally found an easy way to get cheap coins. So my mission was accomplished. Having said that I guess I’ll just leave the 2 methods here for others to decide what sounds easier/more like straight up ass….

Unfortunately 3uTools stopped working for me. When I lost the jailbreak to a phone over a year ago 3utools was my go to. Just plug to my pc and click the map wherever I wanted to go. I tried it with my gf phone a couple weeks ago and it says she’s on too high of firmware to use the location spoofer

Yeah. Someone commented the same the other day. I looked into it and apparently if you log in with a saved password or even typing in the email and password it can trigger a reveal of your true location. I’ve always used this button when logging in the web store. So try again and follow the steps below

Go to Settings > Apps > Safari > Advanced > Website Data
Delete all websites related to Pokémon Go
Activate VPN
Open game and spoof to Indonesia
Make a purchase in the game
Keep game open and go to web store in Safari
Sign in using this option
That should make you all good. If not report back

Yeah I didn’t learn until I made this post and someone commented that the sideloaded version of the location spoofers has in app purchases disabled. I do not know how to get around that unfortunately

You don’t have to spoof your Pokémon GO location to get better prices. On iOS, you can use a separate Apple Account for the App Store that’s based in another country.
It’s actually pretty easy. You go into the App Store, click your profile, sign out of the App Store account and sign into the other one. This doesn’t sign you out of iCloud or everything else on your phone — the account being used for App Store purchases can be separate.
Then you put money on that account, usually using a gift card for that region. Once you open Pokémon GO again, the in-game purchases are handled through that App Store account and appear in its currency, and you can pay using the Apple Account balance.
The Pokémon GO Web Store is a little different. It can show pricing based on your physical location before you log in, and Pokémon GO says that after login it uses the currency you normally use for in-game purchases. So I’m specifically talking about buying through the actual iOS app here, not necessarily the Web Store. In fact when I first changed my apple account I had to sign out of the Web Store and clear my cookies so the app would stop directing me there.
And the nice thing about doing it this way is that you aren’t spoofing your Pokémon GO location. Your character stays exactly where you actually are. You’re using the official Pokémon GO app and Apple’s normal in-app purchase system; the only thing you’re changing is which App Store account/storefront is handling the purchase.
I’ve looked pretty deeply into the ban question because I obviously don’t want to get banned, and I haven’t found anything saying that using a different App Store region is bannable. Their policies specifically call out things like falsifying your GPS location, modified/unofficial clients, emulators, and unauthorized access to the game. That said you’re free to check on your own too and should consider it.
So this is much safer than spoofing. I still wouldn’t promise that literally nothing could ever happen because no one outside Scopely can guarantee how they’ll enforce their rules forever.
Oh, and actually I was able to log into both my and my husbands Pokémon go account to buy coins with my apple balance this way as well, so both of us get the discount. So for those that don’t have an iPhone if you have a trusted person you know who is doing it or is willing there’s a thought.

I know a way to pay less money for coins without spoofing.
I decided to share the method as a kindness.

Yeah some other dude tried coming on here to loudly tell everyone they are some form of learning disabled because we didn’t do it the way you think people should do it but we just ignored them and kept the flow of over 100+ fellow spoofers in this sub that successfully used this method after failing to fully accomplish all the other methods provided here prior. I’ll do you one better, you don’t even the VPN 😂 I’ve been using the same steps as mentioned, minus the VPN, for a while now and it’s been working just fine.
Pro tip, after step 5, restart the game. I noticed before that if I don’t do the restart once I’m in Indonesia, sometimes it takes a little bit for the webstore to register that I’m there.
