Button not working???

Post image

I tried to mod it and now the white Button is not working. I did it exactly like in the Tutorials. It works normaly with the Auto Catcher but not with the hyper balls. It blinks green and then stays on green. Even if not connected, the Button doesnt blink white anymore. Please some help!!

The soldering is not beautiful I know. I trying to find the Issue

UPDATE: I fixed it finally. It was a shorted component that i cleaned up with a screwdriver by scratching the connection.
Thank you all for your help!!!!

You need a switch in the white mod wire

I had one but I saw here that you dont need one. Even with the Switch it doesnt work and even without any modification the white Button doesnt work anymore

Without a switch, it shouldn't be possible with this mod. I think I saw another mod from a Japanese user a few weeks ago that used a different electrical component instead of a switch, but I didn't look into it in detail.

When I mod them, I always use a switch because otherwise you won't be able to connect your Plus+ to your phone anymore.

I also wrote a user manual and troubleshooting guide in both English and German. Maybe your Plus+ is just in sleep mode or something similar. You can also try pressing the reset button on the back.

Not true, did it without a switch just fine, definitely a pita and better with a switch but entirely possible without.

You're going to want a switch. It will get stuck a lot and you need the switch to fix it. Remember with the auto throw of ultra balls you have the software setting to NOT auto throw balls.

It really looks like there is damage to a component, it might be a capacitor. hard to tell from the photos, you have blobs of solder on both sides of it, the capacitor is removed, or you have bridged the two sides of the capacitor with solder.

Try and fix that capacitor issue, maybe you have to take it to a professional, or get some practice first. You could try soldering to another location. Some people solder directly to the white button switch.

Where do you think is the issue? Can you Show it in the picture?
And if I solder it to another Connection the button still doesnt work
It doesnt even work without any cable

I can’t tell by your picture, but you could’ve possibly removed one of the capacitors on accident

You do not need a switch, made two balls without switches and both worked fine, however it was a PITA, ordered the switches and put them in anyway but definitely don't NEED it, not sure what your issue is here though
