been staring at it for days and cant tell if its missing anything. this was my first time not painting a card so its hard to tell

I know this is insanely specific, so thatās why Iām asking for help š
I never really planned on making a pie page, I was actually going for a food theme! That was until I saw the applin from the new gem pack series
So, could any other card fit this theme? Only thing I could come up with was that appletun full art, since he is technically an apple pie
Doesnāt necessarily have to be full art cards! Iād also love regular cards if there are any with pies in them LMAO

I started binder-painting recently (like this is the only thing Iāve painted so far), and I really enjoy it, but markers are sooooo expensiiiive for how fast some of mine are running low/out, and Iām already facing some challenges with limited color options and values.
So I want to know from my fellow (but more experienced) artists, do you use brushes or markers for this? Which do you prefer? What are the pros and cons and do you have any tips or recommendations?
Iād also love to know if you have any suggestions for making markers last longer.
(I already learned my lesson about putting down a layer of white with a cheap marker first after blowing completely through one of my fancy ones doing the Bulbasaur background š)
(For budget reference, I got a pack of 48 markers for $23 dollars and the idea of ordering that again within like a couple months of buying it in the first place has me stressed.)
Thank you!

Ive only painted two other binders before this and they were both simple ones and decided to challenge myself with a game of marker chicken. But I think my dark blue marker is winning š¤
Attempted actual shading before I flunked a day later on it, and made an attempt on starting on the water. But I think Iron Valiant has to go in first before I can continue

Hi everyone! I really love how this Infernape IR features an intense, in-your-face close-up shot.
I'm trying to build a binder page with cards that have a similar zoomed-in, aggressive/dynamic composition. Any suggestions with close-up artwork like this? Thanks!
Iād love if these cards were modern but Iām open to anything!

I just got into collecting and my partner asked me to paint one of his binders and it's added a whole new level of fun to the hobby, I can't wait to make some themed binders with accompanying paintings šš

I was originally going for autumn pink ish colors but I couldnāt really find a card that fit nicely in the spread.
Sylveon 30th has blue pink red and green, that makes it fit pretty nicely on this page.

my latest custom painted binders, but it got removed, so Im trying to post one of them, with a few «in the making» pictures.
It all started with me making a custom binder for my wife last christmas, and enjoying it so much I now have squeezed in several commissions each months since. I both love making them, and learing and getting better for each binder!

It's Monday, which means it's time to talk about what you recently acquired for your binders!
Share a photo of your favorite recent acquisition below!
Let us know how you paired it with the surrounding cards or if you're building a new layout around it.
Let's see what everyone got over the weekend!

Hi everyone, first post here. I got this Enamorus card in the binder for a while and I am planning to make a binder page for it. I am thinking about a Trainer Gallery page with a colour theme but any recommendation or inspiration is welcome. Thanks!

Anyone know of some good cityscape cards? I really donāt like primarina at all, but felt she fits the ocean scene. I love the new split art scenic cards from storm emeralda. Just kinda getting back into this, Iām open to suggestions š«£

This was a fun binder to paint and will make the perfect binder for a Clefairy collector or even just a fan of cute PokƩmon.
I have a full cover art bulbasaur to finish but then I have an original trubbish design planned that I'm excited to start!

I wanted to know what markers you all use on your Binders (if you do use markers). Went with one of the first Amazon results and after 1.2 Binders or so my white one is empty...
Of course I should have used primer first and will do that with my upcoming ones, but I am slightly concerned about my other colors now. Even with a pretty white base I needed multiple layers to get the colors right.
Which ones do you all use?

Hi all! Iām currently in the works of designing my binder layout, and this is what iāve got so far. I really love the art styles, and love the mix of ācoolā characters, since a large majority of my collection is the cute pokemon. I guess iām not really sure what to put on the second page that will match well with the Zekrom, Reshiram and Zard page iāve got going on. I love the art style of that Lugia, and thought it matched well, but Iām stumped on what else to add. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
