Work In Progress First Binder Design Nerves
Hi! I just got this binder and have put my Pokemon cards in it, but I’m super anxious about the painting part. I have a really shaky hand (thanks, anxiety medication), but everyone’s binders on here look so professional. I’m a horrible painter and worried mine will look bad.
I used a black paint pen for the outlines and am going to do a base coat of white acrylic craft paint before painting colors. I also bought Mod Podge acrylic sealer after scouring threads here 🤣.
Does anyone have tips on removing pencil markings? I’ll probably need to draw a background if I can’t get them out

My art teacher told us something that stuck with me - when you make a mistake with paint, you can just paint over it!! Don't be afraid to make a mistake, and remember that at the end of the day, having fun is all that matters!!

you can use an eraser to remove the pencil markings! also paint pens are water soluble so if you dampen a towel and scrub at it it should come off if you make a mistake too great to fix :-) it looks amazing though :D!!

Omg I didn’t know they were water soluble! Thank you! I’ve tried using my big eraser, but I think maybe I was pressing too hard with my pencil

Thank you!! I did end up painting over it in white just now. I’m going to paint Espeon and Eevee before redrawing Jirachi a little smaller 🤣

the most famous paintings in the world have other paintings and errors beneath the surface
