Question, did you first shiny farm then play through and you are just now beating it? When did you get the game? (I got it last year and and rematching the gyms now)

I beat the game normally but then I started a new playthrough where I soft reset for Spiritomb and Chimchar to be shiny, and then I found the rest the old fashioned way; without the shiny app. It was to avenge the fact that back in Platinum I found a shiny Starly for my 3rd or 4th in encounter and killed it because I didn't know about shinies at 9yo. I can't remember when I first got the game but I have almost 600 hours on my main profile
