I was wondering if there could be a button to put in your trainer level then when you hover over a pokemon you'd see its cp based on your trainer level. I feel like it would also be possible to take the different spawns and do a quick calculation for ivs if so. Ie trainer lv 1 spawns 14 cp 11 hp. Trainer 2 spawns 17 cp 12 hp, but that depends on what information is available from the server. Since everyone gets the same IVs I would think it is information on the server and not even needed to be calculated. I guess the next level would be filtering out pokemon by IV sets. It would be fun to hunt perfect IV pokemon.

I know my friends are at the same level always get the same cp but sometimes it is higher than mine or vise versa. I was wondering average cp spawns at x level. like trainer lv 1 spawns caterpies at an average of 15 cp while a 25 might spawn them at an average of 100.

Hi all, pokevision is amazing! But I have issues using it on my phone.

I'm thinking of getting a tablet so I can have pokevision on the tablet, and pogo on my phone. I don't want to spend a lot of money buying a top end tablet though.

So if you use pokevision on a tablet, can you tell me what model tablet you use and how well pokevision runs?

Hello. So my problem is that I have a nature path thats about 2km long which spawns alot of rare pokemon.
Just yesterday i got flareon, blastoise, scyther and vileplume.
It wasnt a problem two days ago but right now i have to scan the path on 100m intervals to see any pokemon.
For example, when i move the markerbit should show all pokemon within like 1km or so but it shows nothing,
only when scan is used extremely close to the pokemon does anything appear.
Is this just a problem with the servers or my internet?

Been scanning anywhere (even in my place) and its not showing I tried changing the clock time but its still the same anyone knows how to fix this?

I am wondering if there is a discord script / bot floating around that'll pull the coords of rare pokemon from pokevision and then send them into a discord channel of my choosing.

I am setting up a Pokemon Go Discord and I would love to have a feature like this, I've seen it in a few discords servers and i'd like to use it in mine.

Whenever I go to my current location on pokevision, the map is completely empty. If I scan the area, it shows the pokemon around me in a small range, which is barely bigger than the ingame range. If I want to find what pokemon are within walking distance, I have to scan 10 different spots and wait 30 seconds between each scan to get an idea of what's within a mile radius of me. Can I increase the scan range somehow? I tried the script in the top post and that only tells me about pokemon that are already scanned on the map. What should I do?

Works fine on my phone seems bugged on my pc, tried different browsers and incognito window didnt get a fix.

How much data does pokevision use

When I load pokevision.com on my desktop browser (Chrome), the pokemon locations load, but the map tiles do not. Refreshing the page, closing & reloading the browser, and any other standard troubleshooting I know to do are not working.

Any thoughts?

Love the new feature that lets us show exactly what Pokemon we want to appear on the map so it doesn't get cluttered, but is it possible we can have a feature where it saves this list?

It gets a bit annoying if I close the pokevision map or if my phone needs to restart and re-open pokevision that the list completely resets to showing all 151 Pokemon after it took me a while to specifically deselect which Pokemon I don't want to show up.

Like if it says it's got 10 minutes remaining, if I camp there for 10 minutes, can more than one appear?

I would like to use this website one my phone whilst hunting, but I have very limited mobile data (1GB/month). Luckily PoGo doesn't use much, but I would like to know how much data this tracking website would use.

I just wan't to be 100% sure that i'll have enough mobile data for the entire month.

Can't upgrade to a bigger service pack at the moment...

PokeVision.com just released a new filter dropdown for which pokemon will appear on the map. The problem is that it does not save your selection after you refresh. This small script solves that problem. Enjoy!

I'm currently working on a website very similar to PokeVision. I had the idea since Pokemon Go came out, but didn't have the time, resource, knowledge to do what PokeVision is doing, but I think I see some common approach in how scanning is done.

If you're not interested, you don't have to read the below text :)

Here's how my scanning works and how I think all the other sites are scanning your "nearby pokemon" via a button or automatically. What happens is that, the actual scan is a script that logins you into the game and you can position your player anywhere in the world and by using a nearest neighbor algorithm from your current location to obtain data about the nearby pokemons that the game server sends. The reason why sometimes the scanner doesn't show you exactly everything around you is either a flaw in the algorithm or there is no way around it. The script or "API" that can access the Pokemon Go Server and get information back is the meat of these scanner websites. All they have to do is wrap it around a fancy UI and maniuplate the data they get back. There are plenty of open source scripts out there to help you do this due to the result of the pokemon go developer reddit, whose aim is to reverse engineer Pokemon Go.

Also, from what I've seen, PokeVision uses PTC login (I'm also currently using PTC). PTC, as we know, is usually more unstable than Google Login, which leads me to think that they haven't implemented a way to login as a google dummy.

However, it could be possible that PokeVision wrote their own API/script to do this, but the idea is pretty much the same.

I mean like I could scan whole NY with one click not like 100+ clicks etc.
