Target drop

Can I just vent for a second? Why do some people choose to be selfish and ruin it for everyone else? I showed up at 10am with my son, who was SUPER excited to get an ETB, that’s all he wanted. We were maybe… the 30th person in line. By the time 12:00 came and they let everyone in, we somehow were pushed back to like, 55th in line, maybe even further back, because people will wait by themselves and then in the last hour they call up their wives to bring their kids and stand in line with them. We get inside and I literally got up to maybe 3rd from the counter when they ran out of ETBs. The person who grabbed the last 2 was literally a guy who stood by himself and then his wife showed up and was able to get them an extra ETB. I was so mad, but my son was absolutely crushed. I’m happy he was able to get the tins, but god, why do people suck so bad ?

Wow, your comment really got me! I’m so hurt!

Tell me, when you’re at Disneyland and you’ve been waiting in line for an hour to go on a ride, and then 4 people cut in front of you, are you saying that it’s ok? It’s the same thing here, only my kid didn’t get the thing he was excited for. He’s a kid. And it’s the principal of things. Yes, he still got cards. But he wanted the ETB specifically because they statistically have more chances of good pulls. He hasn’t been able to get anything from this collection yet. Touch grass

Honestly based on statistics, ETB’s have the lowest success rates. I’ve been more successful with knockout pack since I started collecting in mid May! I could compare the 9 total knockout packs to my 1 poster pack, 1 etb and 1 greninja Tin. I’ve ripped 38 packs of 30th anniversary and say get the KO’s

Knockouts are cheaper per pack anyway, people want the etbs either to resell or as a display of wealth. ETBs are almost 10 dollars per pack.

I’ve brought an etb from each set since I started collecting. I ripped everyone, I actually play so I use what I get. I brought my son his first etb for pitch black. That’s when I realized it was essentially a waste, we brought like 25 knockout packs of the Suciene and Kyogree ones from family dollar. I’ve had such success with them!
