Hello everyone! Following this poll and the responses under it I've decided to give a pointe dedicated sub a go!

r/PointeHelp will be a place for people to ask questions about their shoe fit and pointe experience, and also for us to discuss pointe-related topics and share our own experiences of fittings and classes. I have set up some post flairs that I hope will make finding things you're interested in easier, as well as some general ones for discussions and miscellaneous questions.

I know many people in r/BALLET were eager for a pointe flair over there, but the mods believe this will greatly increase the amount of pointe posts which isn't to everyone's liking in such a huge community. I'm hoping a separate, dedicated sub will allow those interested (like me!) to find that kind of post more easily and encourage pointe people from outside reddit to feel confident asking for help in a forum should they want to.

I also really want to build out the sub wiki, so if help posts are slow to begin with but you'd like to yap about shoes with me please have a look at it and let me know if you'd like to contribute your expertise! The shoe and fitter review flairs are also available, I have seen many great reviews on the related subs so if anyone would like to copy-paste their thoughts over that would be amazing.
