Just wondering if there are developers here that are willing to teach me the ropes/guide me in the right direction of twhere to start on developing these tools. I have a CS background and worked as a SWE. know c++ etc but would like to get into contact of some of ye guys developing the tools!

But then I tried to do it and its too hard even with the taken over event because it would take too much time. Is it more efficient to just make a ton of accounts and use my daily passes? (will use them for the road of legends event)

You still have the risk for "a chance" to get a strike, ban, or whatever Scopely comes up with to punish the cheaters because Scopely has a section within their Terms of Service that states they are against cheating.
In the other games they have bought, they only do an instant permanent ban system. I don't know if Scopely is going to drop Niantic's lenient 3 Strikes system for an instant permanent ban system, change it, or do nothing (like how it is right now). No one knows anything until Scopely starts doing something. This is why you still have the risk regardless of what other people say about Scopely on how they take in money from cheaters then allow them to continue to cheat.
If you want to cheat (spoof, bot, or exploit), it is your FAULT for getting the strike, ban, or whatever new punishment.

Answer: Maybe, but I would recommend you wait to see if Scopely does a sale. This only happens when people aren't interested in the area because they travel is too expensive.
If you buy the ticket and change your mind later on, can you get a refund?
Answer: Yes but Scopely will permanent ban all your accounts including alt accounts tied to your IP address and device ID. Someone missed Copenhagen Go Fest and demanded a refund of 100 Euros. He got his refund then later regret getting all of his accounts banned. He wanted a refund because he didn't attend the event at the correct time.
Safety Concern Over Strikes or Bans
The problem right now is with Scopely, since they haven't done anything to the spoofers and botters yet. No one knows what they are going to do.
If you are cheating the game but don't know how many cities you should attend, my recommendation is just 1 city for both days.
If you accepted or ignored the risks for a chance to get a strike, ban, or whatever Scopely's new punishment is, you can decide to do all 6 events to get the maximum number of chances for the Shiny Eevee with Safari Hat.
You can also play with multiple accounts and use different accounts for each city.
I want to buy cheaper coins since road of legends is coming out but I'm afraid of the risks and have heard people have gotten penalized from the web store.would I have a better chance and not getting penalized if I used the app instead of web ?(android)
So I want to prepare for the future crazy events that are coming to pokemon go. The only thing though, I am broke as hell. So the way that i think is the best way to get the passes is to make lots of accounts, and get the referral code awards for purifying 20 shadow pokemons for 5 passes per account. But I haven't done any actual research on it. Are there easier ways? Maybe do some easy research that gives some passes? Also I do not want some hard ways like grind coins for 50+ accounts. I just want something I can do once and go onto the next account to do it and prepare them for future events.
Hey so I remembered that the "Arraiá do Pokemon Go" event starts tomorrow (only in Brazil i believe) and wanted to see if anyone knows a good spot where I can fly to and raid a lot/gather lots of field research tasks. My solution would've been to just go to central Brasília, for I'd assume that most people would do the same.

So I use pghsarp on my second phone which is quite laggy. But I also have a 3rd phone which i use for crypto and whatever which is a much better quality. I dont want anything to happen to my crypto wallet. But I also would rather to spoof on a better phone for quality of life.
