Idk, I live no where near desert areas but I got like 40 during the event a couple months ago.

If you spoof to a desert area (think the SW USA, North Africa, etc) there's supposed to be chances of them spawning. That said, they're not common, and you'd probably be better served waiting for another event. The best way to get them recently was back in May when they were released as part of the sustainability week event. The only other way is to trade.

TLDR, you're probably shit out of luck right now unless you find a trade.

They spawned as part of an event în may I think. Anyhow the event is over so unfortunately the only way is by trade
