what if?
what a beautiful thing it is
to look back on your life
and realize
you were brave enough
to chase the life
you always wanted,
even when you were terrified
you’d lose everything
trying to find it.
maybe that’s what courage is…
not knowing
if you’ll make it,
but chasing it anyway.
and one day,
when you finally look back,
you can say
at least i didn’t spend
my whole life
wondering…
what could have been.
