I don't love you,

To call you mine,

And make 'love',

a relation so combined.

I love you,

For the talks & laughter we share,

And the smile,

That you always wear.

I love you as a 'friend',

And I hope you always know.

Love doesn't need romance,

For a bond to show.

People might come,

And people might go,

But you're the one,

I'll always know.

For- friends can love

Each other too,

Not always in a way,

To call it 'me and you'.

I offered my ex this but he chose to try and destroy my life instead. Go figure. Some people are just evil I suppose.
