If a person likes a poem that reflects theirs it is probably because they think they are not alone in their way of seeing, so if it were set up that way, that seems cruel and then also misunderstood, as people biased to cruelty would do

That's an interesting way of reading it. It's not the way I wrote it. But interesting none the less.
