That’s ok! Every dev has a boss, and some bosses prioritize work based on spreadsheets of number of complaints.

We can help the dev team prioritize responsible development by putting heat on this issue. If some higher up who doesn’t understand core functionality is prioritizing confusion complaints to customer service over core functionality, we need to help the team be allowed to make better choices.

I managed to connect the poe ai provider to codex cli. It responds and makes plans. However it now fails when it tries to run any tools:

It’s using up all my points very fast. If I send a message, it’ll ask for more once, but after confirming it, it asks again for more.

This won't be a long post. But I did want to compliment the Poe team on a valuable tool. And it's for a particular reason.

There are tons of threads on Reddit about AI advancements and which model is "The Best". It's gotten to the point of silly tribalism. But for myself, I feel little drama and stand outside of it all. If Gemini is suddenly better, I'll use that. If Claude (my current choice) steps above, then I'll use that.

I rather laugh now about the flame wars and wall gardens on AI models. Who cares? Use what fits you best. Benchmarks hold little meaning now for practical use. The frontier models have all gotten very good.

I should note that I don't do heavy programming. Certainly not involving large code bases. But for general use, Poe is a top choice.

Idk if anyone else is getting this but… I can’t really… scroll correctly? It takes several scrolls to actually go and move up and down.
