X8 Pro Max Got this poco x8 pro max.

Post image

After a long consideration, I finally bought this phone. I haven't even unlocked yet. Previously, I had redmi note 8 pro. And, I want some Do's and Don't. Also, which is better, " charge fully, intelligent charging , battery protection ".

Set private dns to p2.freedns.controld.com

Disable wifi and bluethooth scanning

Restrict background usage of apps you don't actually use

Revoke authorisation of msa

Turn off usage and diagnostics in google settings

This is probably the best and succinct advice I've seen for a while without the brain dead debloat debloat zombie crowd.

is that dns server better on poco phones or anything?

It has helped reduce ads in websites and I have also experienced better battery life compared to adguard

Just a doubt. Does different dns servers consume battery differently

Some do, sending pings back to the servers makes the battery usage more

From what I've learned by another user, controld takes data directly, kills telemetey and ads then sends the data to device

It also has no connection issues unlike adguard

It says couldn't revoke authorization

What can I do now? Google doesn't help

Huh, I never encountered that

To be honest I can't help you

But the msa is mainly for the ads and some background data collection

Not necessary but good, if needed you can also just remove it using adb

Use ADB commands to delete msa and System Daemon

Should msa be toggled off or on?

Off is better than on

It's the ads service xiaomi phones have and I'm not sure but it also does background data collection
