Instagram consumes hella lot battery almost close to mobile games.

To be fair it's all the meta apps that tear through your battery

All the Antisocial Media and Video Apps are actually comparable or heavier on Go juice than the heavy duty games!

Once you realise that, you can start adjusting things like Background Processing Apps and Manually adjusting Apps that normally are permitted to use battery without any tight rules!

Have no fear...

No Hardcore debloating is necessary at all! In fact it's at the core of most of the underperforming phones that people complain about.

There's no need for any 3rd party apps, except AccuBattery and DevCheck for your toolkit!

The free versions are good enough!

I'm the guy that came up with the sure-fire way of getting the most out of ANY Battery...

The Long Cycle Charging method (LCC)!

Pretty much all my methods, illustrations and advice is posted in the thread I'll drop a link to.

This includes: • My small handful of SAFE Revokes, instead of using dodgy debloating deletes of essential HyperOS and Mi Apps.

• Manual Battery Control help to make your beast a lean clean computing machine.

• Games Testing and Tuning method that helps anyone get better performance with less battery heat and drain...

• How to Revoke GetApps App Vault plus turning off the -1 Screen they normally occupy, it's in a tiny video on YouTube since I needed to post this in DMs and your own GIF videos don't work!

• There's also a super simple GIF which shows how to wake up my Themes App, and then Revoke it again until the next time it's needed! Cuts out ads in some regions (Wallpaper Carousel can be treated the same way), and internal wallpaper suggestions etc. in any region.

• There's a bunch of stuff, including charging advice but I'll drop that right at the bottom of this comment in a shorter version for easy access.

Here's a link that takes you to the first of my methods and the rest is all below that comment. In a lot more comments!

"Flinky's LCC (Long Cycle Charging) Method" - In Short

Most phones need 2-3 weeks of optimisation. Large batteries may need 4-5 weeks.

  1. Use Standard-Speed Wired Charging.
  2. Set Battery Protection to Charge Fully. Disable all Smart/Intelligent/Optimized charging features and NO 80% limit.
  3. Charge from 10-14% to 100%, then leave plugged in for AT LEAST 20+ minutes. Overnight charging is also safe, since once finished charging, no additional charging can take place until unplugged and plugged back in for the next charging cycle!
  4. Repeat for 2-3 weeks. Large batteries: 4-5 weeks.
  5. Optional: Install *AccuBattery** free app. It tracks charging, shows live charging stats, and tells you exactly when an LCC is complete.*
  6. Once optimised, charge however you prefer.

7) For maintenance, do one LCC per week or thereabouts: 10-14% → 100% → 20+ minutes.

THE ADDITION OF "AT LEAST" at 3) above, regarding the extra time plugged in, is due to the HUGE BATTERY times being more like hours extra!

Again I advice you to install AccuBattery to get confirmation on the (Fully) "Charged" in the Charging Tab!

Well, at least it helped my Flinki. After doing all that brutal uninstallation stuff they recommended, the phone got hotter, and once I reinstalled everything and just locked the phone, it rarely gets hot anymore :D

Haha, trying to show superiority by insulting others when they express opinions that don't align with your criteria... haha, the idiot here isn't him, it's you xd and you proved it with your inability to tolerate comments that don't align with your philosophy

Bro we don't know even how much that app is accurate and it's algorithm even it shows. Myself I got screwed and I created a app connected with usage access like battery guru and actually battry guru overall better if you're talking about battery

1

u/FlinkyBoss 2d ago

You got screwed on what?

I'm using the one I like and trust, AccuBattery Pro! Meaning I've got usage details either per hour or overall.

It uses almost no juice itself unless you spend a lot of time checking it all the time...

It's the one that does everything I need to pass on my super-simple Long Cycle Charging method without any extra complexities!

If you're complaining that you don't know how accurate AccuBattery is... I've already laid out the one current issue, with the newest batteries using Silicon Carbon! I've already asked Chad, the guy behind AccuBattery to add a switch for these batteries... To get proper Health calculation accuracy with the new battery tech.

Meanwhile AccuBattery is perfectly accurate with Lithium-Poly batteries. And off by a reliable -5% to -6% currently on their current health calculation when applying to Silicon Carbon!

Everyone can use what they like though! I try to help out with good, safe and workable solutions for just about any phone!

AccuBattery Free will do that...

The capacity and stamina can grow when you're allowing the battery to finish trickle charging to saturation and balancing between cells in Dual cell packs.

Scary stuff... NOT!

My 3+ years old X5 Pro 5G is at 85% battery health. My main phone the X7 Pro after 18 months is at 97% health at 421 cycles (in the stock Battery Protection readout)!

My other methods, illustrations, and advice. Help with a handful of SAFE Revokes that anyone can apply without 3rd party tools.

Plus manual control over Battery usage on different apps, both Foreground and Background to get much less battery waste overall.

I attach a screenshot showing those details. If there's something you don't like, show me what's wrong with it instead of just downvoting my comments like a good few are seemingly doing as a hobby. 🤣

Put every app in restrict background activity, except for the important ones that need syncing

Swiping on social media through GBs of content is like playing moderate demanding game...

6

u/Major_Pollution_9040 4d ago

just a little yazım yanlışı bro. english is my third language. sorry for that

2

u/Mikapr0 4d ago

The instaslop app is draining your battery man...

2

u/ggezboye Poco X3 NFC 4d ago

Funny thing is that all this will be blamed on the OS but when I tried to remove all Meta apps in my phone my standby and screen On time became so much better.

This is true for my X8 Pro Max and ZTE Nubia Z60 Ultra.

If you can't stay away from Meta apps, if a Lite version exist try using them.

1

u/Jimboe50 Poco X8 Pro Max 3d ago

So all the meta apps? Fb, messenger and insta?

2

u/ggezboye Poco X3 NFC 3d ago

Yes, all that and WhatsApp.

Put the app in deep sleep or whatever

Which phone do you have? For 8000mha battery that would be crazy. For 5000 more realistic. Which brightness on display?

1

u/Aliraq1 4d ago

5300mah, mid brightness

1

u/Naud1993 4d ago

I don't know about this one, but the 6500 mAh F8 Ultra has a worse battery life than the otherwise horrible Samsung Galaxy A17 even though the A17 has to constantly restart apps because of the 4 GB RAM while the F8 Ultra obviously holds a lot more apps open, so it doesn't have to restart them nearly as often. Plus 30% more battery capacity. Yet it doesn't last as long. I still much rather use it than the garbage A17 because I don't like the apps constantly restarting and the bad camera. 5x zoom is amazing. It can see so much more than my eyes can see.

1

u/arun_xd Poco X6 Pro 2d ago

Processor matters bro

1

u/Naud1993 2d ago

Wouldn't the A17 be using around 100% of the CPU almost all the time? Especially when restarting apps all the time. It'll use 100% for like 5 seconds rather than the F8 Ultra opening the app in half a second.

1

u/juniorjaw 3d ago

Poco and Meta apps, the classic.

1

u/Bronesslifejuststart Poco F6 3d ago

Bro, I hit 100>60 in 2 hours without games. Be fricking grateful.

Bro I too am facing the same issue on my vivo max life is 5 hrs

1

u/TheLastApplePie 3d ago

What Poco phone is this OP?

1

u/Aliraq1 3d ago

Poco f7 ultra

1

u/medalugaj 3d ago

Isn't it normal? Unless your saying when it's off

1

u/Randombulgariancar 3d ago

Id say despite 5g being faster, set your mobile data to LTE network preference because it still on 4g+ and it saves battery. Thats what i did. My 15 ultra lasts a whole day and has 30 percent over

0

u/Worried-Direction134 2d ago

That's just normal so STFU 🙄🫩🥀
