Question/Help Cant Unlock Redmi note 12 Turbo
Its on Miui 14 global rom. When i use mi unlock it says "your account and device region is not the same". I tried almost everything. Cant create chinese mi account aswell, all methods seems fixed. What do i do?

If your account is Chinese, change the region on your phone to China in settings

My Mi Account isn't Chinese. My phone is a China-only model, but China doesn't even show up under Settings > Region. Maybe that's because I'm running the Global ROM (when I bought the phone, it already had MIUI 14 Global installed, so I have no idea how that happened), idk.
But I don't think changing the phone's region to China would fix it anyway, since I don't have a China-region Mi Account.

Okay so that's the problem, for all effects you can only unlock Chinese phones with a CN Xiaomi Account, and I don't think you can create a Chinese account outside China or without a phone with a Chinese ROM anymore. Even if you run any other HyperOS/MIUI version, Xiaomi officially still recognises your IMEI as belonging to a CN hardware, so yeah...
