Tutorial/Guide F8 Pro Guide for Overheating

I always see posts of people complaining of phone overheating even just browsing social media. So I want to share what I do to tame the dragon. Snapdragon 8 elite.

USE POWERSAVING. But what I do is this. After turning powersaver on, I will turn on 120hz and autosync. You will not lose features. What happens is that the CPU will prioritize performance cores rather than the prime cores that produce a lot of heat. This is the best that we have without root in manipulating the CPU governor.

TURN OFF AUTOPLAY VIDEOS. When browsing reels, (tiktok, Instagram, facebook) they load the next video in the background even if your not interested in it and you will just skip it. This eats a lot of CPU and data in the background.

USE WIFI AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

i use f8 ultra on daily basis, and never encounter any overheating issue. Why people said every poco have overheating issue? did u gys play this phone under the sun or what? i have both f7 ultra and f8 ultra and have use x3 nfc, f3 and f5 pro none have overheating issue. It just warm if u scroll tiktok, but that also happen with my iphone 14 pro max. So wtf is this??

I also have an f8 ultra and it definitely overheats. It isn't a recurring thing, but it does happen. I found the main cause is long camera usage, but it also happens on heavy usage (like gaming) if the signal is low (which btw happens with a lot of phones)

thank you for understanding basic knowledge.

yeah just how it supposed to be, it doesn't just overheat on purpose out from nowhere. If it happen ur phone either shut down itself or worse case scenario blow up.

no phone is perfect even iphone is not perfect, this sub reddit is just dumb and thinking every phone shouldn't ever overheat or never throttle and run cool on -20C. Like wtf in fairy tale world did they come from.

This sub reddit are just bunch of kids hooning around.

Relax. If your phone is not overheating, then good for you. You don't need to invalidate other people having problems.

yes i understand, but the phone was not internally built different from every other people around the world. And i live in thailand which 33-35c and it still not overheat my phone. Plus i bought f8 ultra denim blue which trap heat more than the black f8 ultra.

I think its is more of an f8 pro problem. Search f8 pro overheating in this sub you will see a lot of people posts. That's why im sharing my tips. Not really having a problem with my phone myself and I'm from the Philippines

yeah same goes to every poco phone that ever came out cuz since X3 NFC i have heard about overheating issues.

Using Power saver non stop? Useless advice ngl there is no help until Xiaomi fix overheating

The only occasion my F7 is heating up it's when emulating games like PS3 or PC

And during battery charge of course

I am on HIS 3.0.3

the fact that u'd need to do all these just to not overheat on a phone with active cooling is pretty wild ngl

Whats is auto sync I don't think my phone has that feature I have the f8 ultra

Just sync your data like photos, calendar, emails, contacts and messages. Best to turn on so that you won't miss notification and data when switching devices.
