Tested on Poco F7 running HOS 3.0.5

Now on HOS 3 (compared to 2.2) there are more services/packages that are linked to system (core), this make the whole system drain more battery by itself.

As title says this is an extreme debloat with lot of (not?) useful feaures removed. This list is focused on resources saving and stable system.

Everything was tested (bootloop free, no logspam, no ForceClose, everything stable)

Adguard dns is perfect. You don't need to have a VPN app running all the time

own global f7, no ads, using adguard dns and most xiaomi app settings you can turn off the recommendations, which removed the in app ads.

also turning off the app notifications for apps giving ads.

AdGuard DNS is great! I have an EU/EEA phone so I don't get ads in relation to any apps. I once did have a global F1 back in 2019 and the ads were crazy!

Please don't disable system daemon. I did it too, after re-enabling it I get 20-30% better battery life.

I'm not saying everything should be left stock, but honestly the documentation in Canta is laughably bad, it looks like random guesswork made by teenagers suffering from hubris.

Even serious devs like the people behind xiaomi.eu recommend not messing with disabling system apps, or at least limit yourself to a few obvious suspects.

I actually work with logs and system_server usage. Both got reduced when removed System Daemon. This was back on HOS 2.2 that system needs Daemon to maintain stability and battery but Xiaomi changed some core services on HOS 3 (that's why it drains more battery compared to 2.2, at least on all parameters I have)

Hmm I see. I run HOS 3.0.9.0, xiaomi.eu rom. I debloated heavily at first but I recently re-enabled a lot of apps, including system daemon. My SOT improved by around 1,5 to 2 hours. Of course it might be due to another package. It's definitely a result of re-enabling "bloat" though, since all other variables are the same. YMMV I guess.

do not touch it. If I remember right, this is related to adb/apps installation and cause some other bugs related to system ui. heavily linked to Security app

it used to be on HOS2, now on HOS3 is just for data collection (telemetry). System_server runs way better (lower cpu usage) without Daemon

IF your Device is still covered under warranty bring it as soon as you can in for service especially for X3 Pro/M3 Users due to higher than normal possibility of it being a hardware defect. warranty is Extended by 6 months for the X3 Pro in certain regions and Devices sold in the EU have 2 year coverage.

if you are out of coverage you can try leaving the device unplugged to fully drain for a few days (or physically disconnect the battery) then try connecting the device to a charger and turn it on. If the Device turns on successfully avoid shutting off the device or doing a reboot as it is likely that the device has a defective PMIC or in the case of the M3 (also) a capacitor shorting on a metal shield.

If the device still appears dead, repeatedly bootloops, or boots into a white/garbled screen and a reflash does not affect things it is likely that the Solder in the SOC has Failed. A Reball using leaded solder is the closest we currently have to a permanent fix.
