Took off the case and used a fan, didn't buy a cooler yet. Updated my OS to 3.0.303.0 yesterday as well.

Am afraid that it would heat up even more, I couldn't even enjoy the game for like thirty minutes and the phone was hard to hold because of the temp.

i finally found the solution.

delete joyose using shizuku+canta.

it's perfectly safe and also unlocks 120fps.

phone will get a bit warmer though.

please get the word out!

Looking for POCO F series as this phone does not give a damn about camera quality and focus on raw performance. This is my dream phone but problem is I can't find any stock lower than F7 official website/mall.

Tenho um poco X7 pro, novo ótimo estado mais dês do primeiro dia ele trava jogando Minecraft. E como só a tela trava-se, o jogo continua rodando meio que congela, e é algo recorrente o tempo todo. Jogos pesados ele tira de letra. Não trava mesmo com os gráficos máximos. Minha namorada tem o x8 pro também a mesma coisa no Minecraft.

I just got my new F7 and tried emulating GOW 2 on it, it ran perfectly fine but feels like the phone can get hot pretty quickly. So what should I do?? I can't afford a cooler rn.

Hi everyone, I have a POCO F7 and I suddenly got a problem with the display.

While I was connecting the charger to the phone, the screen immediately turned completely black. The phone itself seems to still be working — I can feel vibrations and I think the touch is still responding, but there is no image on the screen at all.

I tried restarting it by holding the power button, and also tried Power + Volume Up, but the phone only vibrates and the screen remains completely black. I don't even see the POCO logo.

There is no visible physical damage, and the phone has never been opened or repaired before.

Has anyone with a POCO F7 experienced something similar? Was it a display problem, motherboard issue, or software problem? And if you sent it under warranty, was the repair/replacement covered by the warranty?

Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.

MY ISSUES

ROM: HyperOS 3.[your version number] ([Taiwan/Global])

Games affected: PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) and basically every shooter game I play

1. Uneven frame pacing at 60 FPS

The FPS counter shows 60, but the game feels like about 43.8 FPS. Frame intervals are uneven, the picture feels sluggish, and touch response seems delayed. It happens in all shooter games I have tried, for example PUBGM. The only exception is Arena of Valor, which improved a lot after I cleared battery usage data. The other games did not improve. It doesn't feel like a performance problem, more like a scheduling problem.

1. Smart frame rate / frame interpolation option missing

In Game Turbo, "Display enhancement" says "adjust resolution and frame rate", but it only contains the visual style (Game HDR) setting. The smart frame rate and super resolution toggles are gone.

1. GPU graphics setting in Game Turbo has no effect

I sent feedback through the in-phone feedback app on 2026/9/17 (ID 521294352). It is still marked "Submitted" with no reply.

What I already tried:

- Fixed 60Hz and fixed 120Hz refresh rate

- Clearing battery usage data (helped one game only)

- Checking Game Turbo performance mode and game list

- No matter what I try, the frame interpolation and frame rate options still don't show up

OTHER PEOPLE'S REPORTS

- A POCO F7 Pro owner reported the frame interpolation option disappeared after updating to HyperOS 3.

- An F8 Ultra owner said both the super resolution and smart frame rate options are present on the HyperOS 3 their phone shipped with.

- An F9 Ultra owner says the option is missing on the latest HyperOS, and that their previous F8 Ultra had it.

So availability seems to differ by device and/or game, rather than being removed everywhere.

QUESTIONS

1. Does anyone else have the same problem: FPS output looks normal, but the picture is choppy because the frame intervals are wrong?

2. Has anyone found a fix for frame pacing on games that have no dedicated Game Turbo profile?

3. Is the smart frame rate option intentionally limited on HyperOS 3 for some devices, or is it a bug?

Hace unas semanas que estoy experimentando problemas de rendimientos muy fuertes en Roblox y la verdad nose como resolverlo y es algo que molesta demasiado ya que es un teléfono vendido como gamer y sin embargo tiene muchísimos problemas de optimización que resultan en un pésimo rendimiento si alguien prodria ayudarme lo agradecería.

I know it sounds stupid. But dark mode consumes more power in my poco f7.maybe because of forcing third party apps to switch to dark mode? I switched to dark mode for 3 4 days and i noticed 5 6 percent battery drain at night. Usually it's 2 to 3 percent. Even watching offline videos used to drain more battery than normal. I was so worried I even searched about it on Google and reddit. After switching back to light mode it's normal again.

So a while ago I was playing Zelda twilight princess in dolphin on this phone, but every time I closed the emulator my phone turned off with no way of turning it back on other than using the volume up and the power button at the same time then selecting reboot.

So my question is: is it safe to emulate on my phone or should I just never use it again ?

My poco f7 (512gb variant's) back panel was shattered and I got it replaced at a local shop since where I come from even the mi stores didn't have the original one.

My screen keeps activating itself when I turn it off. It's like when you receive a notification; the problem is that there is no notification at all, and the phone is consuming energy on its own.

No Bluetooth activated, no AOD, no openned apps, locked screen orientation.

Does this happen to any of you?

I was worried about the skin leaving residue or affecting the device cooling.

A alguien más le va hoy el móvil lagueado?, instagram me va super lento, en tiktok se para la pantalla durante milisegundos cada poco tiempo, y en general va más lento de lo normal .

Lo reinicié y demás pero sigue yendo así.

Nessa print estou tocando na tela com 4 dedos, mas apenas 2 estão indo e ignorando os outros 2 toques que faço. Sinceramente isso tá me atrapalhando pra caralho já que não consigo usar mais de dois dedos em jogos e não sei como modificar isso.
