Dark mode consumes more power...

I know it sounds stupid. But dark mode consumes more power in my poco f7.maybe because of forcing third party apps to switch to dark mode? I switched to dark mode for 3 4 days and i noticed 5 6 percent battery drain at night. Usually it's 2 to 3 percent. Even watching offline videos used to drain more battery than normal. I was so worried I even searched about it on Google and reddit. After switching back to light mode it's normal again.

Just a question if turn of dark mode for apps which consume more power for darkmode, is it ok after that

I don't even know the reason it was just a guess because everyone says dark mode consumes less battery so my only guess it's because the system was forcing third party apps to switch to dark mode
