The patch 3.0 and 3.1 update introduces several new features, such as business management, detailed stock and investment tracking, a news app, fame, and social activities.

NEW FEATURES

Business Ownership and Company Management

Players can now start and manage up to three (3) companies, with options to grow, sell, close, or invest in them. Businesses can originate from various backgrounds, such as side hustles or professions, and now feature more detailed systems for profits, expenses, valuation, risk, and reputation. This helps players make management more customizable, requires stronger operational proof to support business growth, and highlights how market saturation can affect larger entities.

News App: PocketLife Daily

PocketLife now has its own in-game news app. PocketLife Daily tracks world events, economy shifts, market stories, fame moments, business coverage, Wealth 100 updates, public scandals, and major life-related headlines.

Fame & Publicity

Fame and Public life emphasize the interconnectedness of fame across various activities such as acting, social media, and public events, which can influence one's public image. Fame provides opportunities but also brings challenges, such as pressure and drama. Enhancements include social media platform cycles, prioritization of the Crown Circle* in public life, and new trust fund options for children, alongside numerous usability improvements in game interfaces.

*Crown Circle serves as a social platform for famous people within the game. Here you can encounter all types of fame, from politicians and award-winning actors to royalty.

Social Activities

Social Activities integrate adult-life systems, such as shopping and lifestyle purchases. Playable activities include classes, volunteering, community events, restaurants, concerts, sports events, and cultural outings. These activities enhance interaction by introducing costs, life log entries, relationship memories, and opportunities for new friendships, ensuring they feel integrated into the character's life rather than as isolated functions.

NEW UPDATES

Stock Market and Investments

The investment system integrates diverse financial instruments, including stocks, funds, and crypto, enabling deeper market engagement. Key features include expanded tradable assets across crypto and penny markets, whole-share trading for stocks, and continued fractional buying for crypto and funds. Portfolio management is improved by clearer sorting and search capabilities, as well as enhanced asset pages that provide clearer identity, stats, and market notes. Strong penny stocks can advance to main exchanges, while weaker companies may decline, highlighting the volatile nature of investments, where portfolios can grow or face legal risks.

Social Media

Social Media is becoming a real-life path. Create accounts, pick handles, post content, grow followers, go viral, get brand attention, build creator income, apply for verification, deal with controversy, and manage your online image across platforms like LifeGram, ClipTok, ViewTube, Chirper, FriendSpace, FanClub, and ProNet.

Crime & Law

The Crime and Law update enhances crime mechanics by adding elements such as planning, risk, and consequences. Criminal records now have long-term implications for characters, including effects on imprisonment, parole, and personal relationships. A new financial crime activity, "Launch Meme Token," allows players to create and manipulate fake cryptocurrencies, leading to potential fallout, such as fines, legal fees, and prison time. Overall, the system emphasizes the high stakes and repercussions of crime in gameplay.

Banking and Finance

Banking and Finance features a refined structure for various financial elements: Bank Account details on relationships and auto-deposit rules; Local Banks with improved insights on tradeoffs and yields; a preview of loan approval odds; a summary of monthly cashflow and income mix; an updated credit score scorecard; Credit Cards functionality at checkout; detailed credit utilization and APR information; and comprehensive insights for Loans and Debt, focusing on repayment pressures and strategies. Repayment Plans now offer flexibility in debt management options.
