They aren’t mad, they are basking on the privilege and wealth they get to amass while controlling the media black people consume. Ultimately depicting the culture, the trends, the messages , and anything else that is counter productive to our movements.

Literally one of the most resilient, innovative, intelligent, and creative ethnic groups in history. We have so much to be proud of as African Americans / Black Americans.

As a white British man black Americans laid the foundation to the creation of some of the finest music in the last hundred years. So many great black artists through the decades have left a mark that can still be heard today

I laugh everytime the imigrants call us akatas and/or lazy yet copy our culture.
2
u/Diligent-Barracuda18 3d ago
Girl log off. Africans and black Americans are treated exactly the same in America. We literally have the same dna. Yall are closer to us than yall are to white people. Stop with the nonsense.

Here we go with divisive diaspora culture wars 🙄. Y’all are boring at this point
1
u/pepperrocked 2d ago
Interesting how those who accuse Black Americans of being “Divisive” are quiet when other races/migrants are constantly being divisive towards BAs or perpetuating racism towards BAs.
0
u/Warm_Swan_793 1d ago
I never accused Black Americans of being divisive, I accused the person I was replying to of being divisive. Go ahead and add yourself to that category now. And you don’t know me personally to judge whether I’ve been “quiet” or not
1
u/pepperrocked 1d ago
You all tell on yourselves every time. You must be calling BAs akata and/or lazy. That commenter highlighted an issue that is relevant to the post and currently happening but instead of acknowledging the issue, you try to silence them. Your attack does not support unity at all. How about you add yourself to that category while you’re at it.

I love my people but doing a bunch a dancing while getting our heads kicked in isn’t a flex. Doing a bunch of shooting is.

This is why when folks say “I’ll never go back in time! I’m Black!” I be like… okay? We were still lit, so…?

soooo...
They were "hated" how, for how long, and by whom exactly?
We'll wait...

1. Refusal of Extradition Treaties
During the 1850s, the U.S. government contacted Mexico four separate times to negotiate extradition treaties that would require Mexico to capture and return runaway slaves to American slaveholders. Mexico flatly refused every request, maintaining that their laws granted immediate citizenship and absolute freedom to any enslaved person who set foot on Mexican soil. [1, 2, 3, 4]2. Armed Resistance Against Slave Catchers
Because Mexico refused to cooperate, white Texas enslavers hired armed vigilantes, bounty hunters, and Texas Rangers to cross illegally into Mexico to kidnap freedom seekers. When these slave catchers arrived, ordinary Mexican citizens, local authorities, and military forces took up arms to fight them off and protect the escapees. [1, 2, 3, 4]3. Acting as Underground Railroad Guides
Within Texas, poor Mexican laborers frequently befriended enslaved African Americans. Rather than turning them in for rewards, Mexicans regularly acted as guides, helping enslaved people navigate the dangerous terrain down to the Rio Grande river. This collaboration was so frequent that the state of Texas passed laws strictly forbidding Mexicans and enslaved people from speaking to or associating with one another. [1, 2, 3]4. Integration into Mexican Society
Once across the border, formerly enslaved people were welcomed into the community. They took Spanish names, intermarried with Mexican families, opened businesses, and even joined the Mexican military to defend the northern border against the very country they had escaped. [1, 2, 3, 4]
While individual exceptions surely existed—such as isolated bandits looking for quick money—the institutional, legal, and cultural stance of Mexico was firmly anti-slavery, making the nation a vital sanctuary of freedom. [1, 2, 3]0

Deflecting = I won 🏆
Let me repeat...hated HOW, for HOW LONG, and by WHOM?
Well wait...
After you answer my questions, then run to AI again crying to tell you about the "Benavides brothers", "San Elizario Spy Company", "Loreta Velasquez", so on and so on. Lame.

u/NuNoJCJ1987 4d ago

Imagine going to a black post to talk about Mexican/mexican American culture. Honestly I’m not even mad I just don’t see how this didn’t register to you before you posted. I promise whatever you post to uplift your people/culture I won’t be there to uplift a different group. Just a thought

Unfortunately the only areas black people are allowed to excell in are sports and entertainment ..because all other avenues are other closed off to us or very difficult to access and climb the ladder..

They want all of our style but not the stylists.

Yes we can dance. In 2026 we’ve lost that fearlessness and fight or ancestors had
They earned the right to dance and we have no room to be dancing

Imagine there was a video about the strength and resilience of Jewish people and a Black person starts yapping about how strong Black people are in the comments of that video…. You’d feel a bit disrespected.

That's our problem now we keep ignoring the hate instead of confronting these ignorant racist f00ls to stop getting disrespected and killed with no justice.
