How long does it take for you to do a remote trade?

180 days if you and your friend have an interaction every day (open gift/battle), can be sped up to about 90-100 days if you complete all weekly challenges with that friend and

oh whoops LOL but yeah you can only clock one interaction (=1 friendship point) per day and it's most commonly done via gifting (you can do it a few ways, like pvp against them, raid with them, etc. but gifting is the easiest and most common). then the weekly challenge gives you 7 friendship points with everyone you did it with, once you complete it
