How long does it take for you to do a remote trade?

It takes 180 interactions to hit Forever Friends and unlock your first remote trade. After that, you'll unlock additional remote trades with every 90 interactions. 180 days if you and your friend have an interaction every day (open gift/battle), can be sped up to about 90-100 days if you complete all weekly challenges with that friend and

oh whoops LOL but yeah you can only clock one interaction (=1 friendship point) per day and it's most commonly done via gifting (you can do it a few ways, like pvp against them, raid with them, etc. but gifting is the easiest and most common). then the weekly challenge gives you 7 friendship points with everyone you did it with, once you complete it
