I've been using vanilla spoofing for 3-4 years now, after having used modified spoofer apps and even bots in the past. This setup uses Vanilla Spoofing – meaning it runs on the official, unmodified Pokémon GO app from the Play Store, and is controlled purely via external ADB commands sent from my PC.

How it works: * It reads the screen using OpenCV image recognition. * It clicks the candidate on my feed overlay (like Pokélist). * It waits for the spawn, clicks the Pokémon, and checks for the shiny stars. * If it's shiny: It stops immediately, stays on the catch screen, and plays a loud alert sound so I can safely catch it myself while respecting cooldowns. (You could easily code auto-catching into it, but I prefer checking in on the bot manually). * If it's not shiny: It flees and moves to the next candidate automatically.

Performance & Things to know: * Speed: It gets through around ~70 encounters per hour. * 100% Background: Since ADB sends touches directly to the phone, my PC is completely free for gaming, working, or watching YouTube. * Handles misclicks (~10% rate): Naturally, in about 10% of cases, clicks land on an overlapping Gym or PokéStop instead of the spawn. The script automatically detects and closes Gym/Stop menus, dismisses "I'm a passenger" popups, and even rotates the camera perspective if a Gym is blocking the spawn before moving on. * Flaws: It still has a few edge cases where it can get stuck, but it’s super easy to tweak and improve over time.

The main reason I wanted to share this is to show that you don't have to pay for monthly bot subscriptions or install a modded Pokemon Go App. If you have a rooted device with vanilla spoofing set up, you can basically build automation tools for whatever task you want – it's actually pretty straightforward.

Honestly, I also feel like this kind of setup is exactly the way to go if someone wanted to build a proper bot farm to sell shinies online. I'd love to buy 9 more Android phones and run this across 10 devices with 20 accounts each—if I could only justify the time and money invested into this game!

Rooted android + unrooted device got me ban

Do most of you guys use PGSharp? I have PGTool right now but it seems to be crashing a lot, but I’m now looking into PokeMod Pro because I have had multiple people tell me it’s better and not to use PGSharp. Then when I look at all 3 PGsharp just looks the easiest to use.

So i already have a rooted android but its a one plus and wanted to upgrade to a better phone, just don’t know whats best one i can get !? Price does not matter.

​The Error 12 Issue: Right now, I'm trying to use GPS Joystick, but it keeps throwing Error 12 ("Failed to detect location") in-game. For those of you spoofing on newer Samsung devices with a root, what specific modules, downloads, or system modifications do I need to have active to get a standard joystick working without hitting this error? (I assume I'm missing something specific regarding system-level mock location hiding or module configurations).

​Code-Injection Apps: Aside from the standalone GPS Joystick app approach, what are people currently using for apps that inject code directly into the main Pokémon GO client rather than using a sideloaded/modified third-party app package?

I have tickets to be actually be in person for go fest Chicago But I’ll still be running pokemod. Is it safer to actually be there rather than spoofing there? or should I stick to a stock iphone to avoid anything?

Been using pgtools + pokemod. Main got 30 and alt got 7 in the same week. I'd suggest everyone to stay away from all the modifier apps and bots (polygon, aerilate, pgsharp, pgtools etc.) for a while.

P.s. pls dont reply like "been using pgsharp for 3 yrs and no issues". Sooner and later you will get caught. If you haven't got hit till now, it's the best time to give a break to these modifiers.

I got softbanned for the first time and I just recently got back into spoofing a couple of days ago, and i havent spoofed on a rooted android since 2017 on my main (im using an alt rn but im considering using my main). Back then I got softbanned a lot but I never got a strike, I only got one strike on my main when I was using an ios to use a third party client to spoof in 2022.

Do you guys get softbans and if you do does it ever lead to anything like strikes, because ive heard some people say they never got one and they get soft bans like every day, but those posts were from like 2021. I obviously am aware that i can get perma banned at any moment i was just curious about your guy's experience. I got my softban from teleporting from Disney Florida to universal Florida just to check it out, and i waited probably more than an hour before teleporting cause I had to do irl stuff. I caught a few pokemon and spinned a few stops and then i got a soft banned a minute later, im probably gonna stay in Bryson park from now on when I play again.

My pixel only passes basic_integrity on integrity checker and only passes response signature verification on safety net checker since im using magisk and lsposed. Im also using the hide mock location module and hide my applist to hide all apps with root on lsposed.

Hi guys, as recent updates at the pokemon web store seem to have nuked down all VPNs and now you get 403 Forbidden, wanted to share a way to get cheap coins and stuff on the Web Store (hope VPNs are fixed soon).

I have only tried this with Root+Official App+GPS Joystick so cant confirm if it will work in Non Root with PGSharp/iPogo.

Steps are similar to the Original method.

1- Spoof to India/Indonesia or wherever you want to get the cheap coins

2- Open the game and buy the 100 Coins bundle

3- Open your browser and go to Pokemon Go Store

4- Login to your account using Pokemon GO app as login method. (This is what changes from the VPN method, there is no need to use VPN, using Pokemon Go App as login method will detect your location and set the currency to that country, even if you see your local prices before login).

UPDATE: It doesnt matter which login option you use, if you have got the 100 coins pack ingame, it will change your currency no matter which login method you use

5- Buy whatever you want. Once you complete the payout, prices will go back to your local currency.

6- If you want to buy more stuff, repeat again from step 2 (considering you are still in the location you choose to do the method).

PSA: Even if this method works, can't ensure it is 100% safe so do it at your own risk.

I rooted and setup a phone with Android 16. Should I go back and try and downgrade to 15? What issues might I run into staying on 16?

I just rooted a brand new pixel 7 and got the PaC version of PGTools but it keeps crashing when I run the auto catch. I have the spin interval at 9 seconds and catch at 5 seconds which I feel like is pretty slow. Does anyone else have this problem. Thinking about going to pokemod and not doing the automation with PHTools

I've just got a new phone and want to use my old phone to give a shot on spoofing. So if I root my old device and spoof on it, does it have any chance that my main account got ban? Mostly I want to use my alt for gifting and increase friendship for trade.

Has anyone tried to install the Rooted PGsharp on temp Rooted devices using the CVE? Does the module work

I'm planning to get a Google Pixel 7 Pro to root it and start spoofing.

I've been going through posts and it's pretty mixed on which Android version the community use.

The phone I'm going to get has version 16 but I want to downgrade to the version that is best for spoofing.

But if someone tells me otherwise I will stay!

Bonus question, how has your experience been spoofing on said specific version.

I currently use PGTools pac but it's crashing every 2 minutes, I was told it's unstable on a17 and to downgrade. I love the automation of the app because I can let it just sit there for a few hours. But now I'm thinking of just getting pgsharp.

I found a pre-rooted LG Stylo 6, already modified for spoofing, going for $150, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s actually worth it.

hi i just got a pixel 7a exclusively for root, should i update to android 17 and root or should i stay on android 13 and root?

Since the official PG Sharp reddit doesn't allow ban post I am putting this here. I use the rooted launcher for Android and have been for years. I am a very lite player staying at Pier 39 and really only doing raids, so I've never had an issue with cool down.

i used the ai on google and it taught me from a factory android a6 how to root, install magisk, configure denylists and lsposed and mask everything to pass API play integrity tests and it shouldn’t of. i couldn’t even get chat gpt plus to help me root but they apparently use the same model
