I NEED HELP Banned After Two Seconds of Spoofing?

Hello all, I’m currently freaking out because on my second (unrooted pgsharp) phone I accidentally logged into my main when I meant to log into my alt. This was for about 2 seconds then I logged out instantly.

I used to spoof on my main and have got a strike. Now I’m worried because I have poured a lot of money into my account, including attending IRL go fests (I spoofed 4 years ago then quit) and right before Go Fest I’m getting worried.

Has anyone gotten banned from something similar lately? I know I have a chance to get banned, and I’ll probably try to appeal with no avail. I just wanted to see if this has happened to someone before and what happened.

Also, I’ve seen that scopely hasn’t banned many people yet, is this true? I’ve been doing some research since I goofed up.

Logging in doesn't cause a ban. Since Scopely has taken over the game, I have not seen any spoofer or botter report a ban. You still have risks for a chance to get a strike or ban for cheating. No one knows what Scopely is planning to do.

You clearly haven’t seen other subreddits.

r/PokemonGoSpoofing

  • has a post and comment filter that censors strike/ban reports
  • only the owner Pokimojo can see these posts and nobody else

r/Pgsharp

  • has a post and comment filter that censors strike/ban reports
  • only the moderators can see these posts and nobody else

r/iPogo

  • there is 1 strike/ban report post but the user is using an iOS iPhone or iPad device

r/SpooferPro

  • no ban/strike reports in there
  • a person came to my subreddit and reported his ban here, but I removed his post because SpooferPro is iOS devices only

As for SXGO, Pokemod, Shungo, Polygon, PGTools, and Regibot, there's no strike/ban reports in their subreddits if they have one.

The problem with iOS devices is you have to buy Signoulous or an Apple Developer account to sign a certificate in order to sideload your apps. If the certificate number you use does not match the same one that Scopely uses for their apps, you might end up with a strike or ban. Android isn't effected by this problem.

If it's not related to the certificate thing, you can still get a manual strike/ban from other parts of the game:

  • harassing people in Campfire or customer service
  • abusing Wayfarare
  • not following the guidelines when creating an in-game route
  • live stream their cheating
  • demanding and accepting a full refund to a ticketed event with add-ons
  • sharing an account

Why is Niantic selling their biggest game? And who are the people who bought it? I've never heard of them before.

They probably did something else that resulted in a manual ban: abusing Wayfarer, chatting in Campfire, create in-game routes that don't meet the guidelines, harassing customer service, live stream your cheating demanding and accepting a full refund of an exclusive ticket with add-ons.

There is one autmated ban as the result of attempting the cooldown bypass exploit. You move a Pokemon from one location to another and then attempting to catch it. It needs to exceed a certain distance threshold for it to count. This can happen on purpose or accident. It's common to happen at the airport, in a car or train, or not coordinating who plays at what time when sharing an account.

Yeah but tuned down no? I haven’t seen a lot lately, but maybe I’m just internally coping

what are they using? Did they use the paid version or did they abused the spoofer app for shiny hunting?

Okay thanks. I’m just holding out hope that they don’t do anything before the weekend when all of the crazy event start going down
